For what reasons do you want Job 1 over 2? Regardless of price hike, you're paying the agreed price from the start.

There’s debate over current schedules as seen around the forum.

It is of my interpretation of the schedules that the last Job 1 trucks will be built the week of 4/4 and Job 2 trucks would likely start production the week of 4/11.

So for me, Job 1 over Job 2 means avoiding another delay, because I was ready to sell my 15 a month ago and it’s since cratered in value despite low supply, high gas prices are killing demand.

Sometimes Job 1 and Job 2 mean slight changes to the build. I know 2021 Job 2 F-150s have different APIM/modules than 2021 Job 1 F-150s and that’s believed to be a reason Job 1 trucks haven’t been offered BlueCruise yet.

Same as me! My guess is that is the start of production but blend date will be a few days later.

I logged on to my Ford account. I habe a Lariat, not a Raptor or Tremor

I did the same. Don't even need to log into your account, just go to chat.

I was told that my build day is scheduled for 3/30, which also happens to be my 34th birthday. I also asked about chips and she said she doesn't have that info lol. Worth a shot

Just hit start chatting once the box shows up. It will ask for vin and then just select the first item on the nature of the inquiry question. Tell he or she you want a status update.
