where do you guys see ramp info? And does anyone know what it means? Or is it just location it's parked?

On your window sticker it says ramp at least that’s what I’m looking at.

Ramp is just parking lot storage/staging.

There is a ramp number on your WS. That’s where you start. Convoy or rail is how you leave that ramp.

As you move through transit you hit different ramps. For example, I was ramp CM6P out of Dearborn. I then got on a convoy(as stated on my WS) to Ramp 58 in Melvindale, MI. three miles down the road. I’ll wait on ramp 58 to be loaded on a train to the next location.

You get ramp numbers from the VVR provided by your dealer.

Chatted with Ford again today. Vehicle is still awaiting shipment. According to my VVR, the truck was built on 3/18 Ford Tracker says 3/26. VVR has my truck with an ETA to dealer 4/8-4/14. Ford chat says that it is now scheduled to be shipped 4/15. This really is total BS. Brand new vehicle sitting for a month in a parking lot waiting to be shipped.

I would love to know the reason that it is taking so long to ship some trucks, but others are getting seem like they are rolling straight onto a rail car or car hauler from final inspection.

I thought maybe it would be related to geographic location but there are others being sent out to the general location of my dealer that were built after mine.

ASN went away. Not sure what to think at this point.

Mine went away a day or so ago and showed back up this evening.

Very weird. My ASN came back today. Ford chat told me it is now scheduled to depart Dearborn on 4/16. Honestly starting to think this latest delay might be rail logistics (mine is going to a yard in Massachusetts before truck to Maine).

It's all a cluster. There is no reason for a built truck to sit that long.

Congrats Black22Platinum! hopefully shipping is a better experience for you than it has been so far.

That is sound and logical reasoning, but nothing about this process has been logical so far.
