I am experiencing the same thing (2023 PB) but it seems to have started in late Nov/Dec. I am also in cold climate (MN). The brake pedal slightly kicks back into my foot and the pedal is now creaking/groaning each time I press it. The kick back is more prominent at higher speeds (30-40+) when I lightly/quickly tap the brake pedal.
Additionally, whenever I accelerate from a full stop, the initial brake release sounds almost like the auto parking brake release -- a sudden 'clunk' of the brakes releasing.
I'm beginning to believe this is related to one of the recent OTA updates as these are all new symptoms, but local Ford service has been able to find nothing mechanically wrong even though they have verified the issue and symptoms. ABS update was applied 2 weeks ago but did not resolve any of the above issues.
I noticed this pretty quickly after getting my 23 Powerboost.
What I noticed is that if I'm going about 16mph or above, I will get the click with every pedal application. Below 16mph there is no click. This is 100% repeatable.
Took to dealer and they looked into it. We then hopped into another Powerboost that was new on their lot and drove a couple miles. 16mph and up.... clicked every pedal press. Under 16mph 0 clicking.
I'm pretty sure it is normal unless it is something louder than just a click when you first press the pedal.
Well today I paid close attention and I will say it does seem 16mph give or take a few that seems to be where you do here it. I can however get it to do it less but I have to get up to 16mph before braking.
