Anyone on here ever vinyl wrapped a Platinum tailgate where the brushed chrome plate is? Thinking of toning it down a little with a shiny Black Chrome instead of silver that all of them are. Truck color is Rapid Red. Anyone?

It would look very nice. I simply installed the black lettering from Ford on my platinum tailgate. My truck is antimatter blue, so the dark letters add a nice contrast to the silver. How hard is it to remove the brushed chrome appliqué and reapply it?

That'd be a lot easier than taking the plate off for paint...trust me
