OMG, I can literally feel the damage on my skin.

There is a rail bridge about 10 minutes from my house with “1909” stamped in the concrete/stone. There are cracks about an inch wide in the base, and the steel columns in the middle are rotted completely gone and I can stick my fingers through it with no effort. Trains use it every day.

The rail companies are responsible for the rail bridges. Its on them to repair.

Time to hold their feet to the fire.

Reducing safety standards in 2017 increase profits for the already very profitable railroad companies but at a great reduction in safety and an increase in trains coming off the rails.
