VCT solenoids are a known issue across the coyote platform. Ive had a Coyote since 2011 and have replaced several VCT solenoids throughout the years for myself and friends.

So I'm going to change both exhaust vct solenoids hopefully this week to see how that changes as one seems pretty noisy. I have read that it might be a software issue not controlling the cam phaser as good in the 2k range. Also a little earlier models referred it as the 2k rattle. We will see plus I can look at the valve train as well when I take the valve cover off
