21 Platinum Illuminated Door Sills

Want to add OEM style illuminated door sill plates to my 21 Powerboost. Has anyone tried mounting F350 Platinum plates their Gen 14 F150? I know its been done to earlier 15-20 F150's? I'm not liking the aftermarket options? If not, how about gen14 limited sill plates?

Got the knockoffs from eBay and can confirm they fit 21+. Tapped into the white wire (posi-tap)of the high mount courtesy light of bed (third brake light) and grounded on back wall of cab (the ground above where the jack is stored) and split to each sill plate.
very close match to the ambient lighting. Nice touch at night

@FrankSJ why did you choose to run all the way up to the third break light? do they shut off when driving that way?

looks like they lay flat on the sill metal area
instructions indicated double sided tape
different

Yes they shut off when the courtesy lights go off

even though it says only 2017 f250.. they will fit.
