2025 lariat radio has no sound

Hello alll, have a new lariat with under 3000 miles on her. other day the sound completely went out. turning up the volume it just stays at zero, no bluetooth access, nothing at all. Even the screen buttons don't work. My dealership sent out a courtesy tech and he suggested a wiring issue or a (acm) audio control module needs to be replaced. anyone else have this issue? Almost sounds like a fuse to me but no luck finding a burned out one.

One interesting thing tech said was the 25 models are brand new as far as their systems internally and he had to relearn the system himself. also had a issue turning off seatbelt chimes because the sequences although the same directions in the owners manual won't sequence the process to let you turn them off.

Next step is dealer opening up the dash and going hunting. trying to avoid that if the fix might be simpler.

If not a powerboost, try disconnecting your negative battery cable and leave it off for 30 minutes before reconnecting.

That may reset the APIM.

Won't hurt anything and you might get lucky.

On the 2025, the manual is incorrect. You need to wait for the "airbag light" to go off not the seatbelt light. I struggled with this for a week and I came across one post in a thread about turning off the seatbelt reminder on a 2025 being different.

As for the audio issue, that is concerning. Just today my radio started to act up. It cuts out for a few seconds and then comes back. There's no pattern to it and it does it on all sources. One time I actually caught an error message "Audio Failure" at the top left of the screen. Didn't display for long. I have a 9 hour road trip coming up and it will suck if this thing goes out.

I had that happen when I got my truck. In my case, it was the ACM, which was replaced.

Yesterday I had my whole left side audio cut out after static started to play, it came back after turning truck off and waiting a bit
Just got the truck two weeks ago so it’s kinda concerning

Thank you for this. I tried it and it worked. Does still give a quick seatbelt beep when first stating the vehicle, but overall a more permanent solution than having those aftermarket belt chime stopper pieces to constantly remove. Much appreciated.

My 25 Lariat radio cuts out almost daily for about 3-5 seconds and comes back on. Dealer can't replicate of course. Did full battery and apim reset and still does it.
