Agree....less chrome is desirable but like the grill over the pseudo-audi gaping mouth a few years back.

Fingers crossed, but the one in that video does not have the control wheel on the side of the seat. I want them bad, so here’s to hoping!
I read somewhere that the center button in the round control wheel below actives an interface in the screen to turn them on/off.

You are correct, the center button is a shortcut that brings up the massaging seat setting menu. Otherwise it is under “settings” on the center display menu.

Nice!

My concerns are payload and reliability.

If I get the ecoboost, I will have 600+ lbs more payload for extra passengers and things like bringing a floor jack and tools with me. Those are my two hangups.
Lots of factors, I think a lot has to do with hiw far, the topography, weather. All I can say is we carry lots of gear and people with the boat to the lake. The trip is only about 50 miles each way, but it's a hard 50 miles. 200 to 4000 feet elevation. Never had an issue. Now if I was pulling cross country, probably a bigger factor.

I noticed the inverter is not under the driver side rear seat. This is where it was on my 2022 PowerBoost.
For PB inverters they are to the side. ICE 2kw inverters are under the seat.
KR comes with 7.2 on PBs as default now and located as in below picture:

Wow, that 2 tone marsh grey or what ever they call it for 2025, looks so different in every picture. I can only hope it looks good with antimatter.. then the further contrast with the KR interior... I'm no artist but seems like too many colors. I felt like the bronze was a better overall match for KR. If mine ever leaves the train yard, I hope to see it next week.
iridescent, anti-matter blue...saw one parked, late model Tremor yesterday (cobalt blue, Colorado day)...w/ sun direction behind my back the blue appeared a lighter metallic blue and painted surfaces perpendicular to the sun's rays appear dark navy.

You are correct, my 2015 Platinum had Active Motion, and that is how they were activated, as well as in the screen settings.

I stand corrected. When I first watched the video, I mistook the round control pad for the standard power lumbar control. Zooming in, I now see the up and down arrows and center button, which is what I had on my 2015.

So this is great news and gives me hope!

I do not want to derail this great thread, but the short answer is currently I will tow from MA to PA (650-ish miles) every June (Ford Nationals in Carlisle), but eventually move to TX. I will tow my car there (2,500-ish miles) and then take it to many events thereafter in many different states.

At that rate, powerboost won't have much value in mpg. 250 Diesel would be better.

That may be true, but I am definitely staying with an F150. Currently, I tow two days a year (down/back). In the next few years, I will tow to TX once. Thereafter, I will tow to events two or three times a year at the most. I prefer every other day of ownership being in an F150.

In 2017, I tried a F250 diesel, and it is an absolute waste of money for day-to-day use. Had to purposely drive it every week just to get it to regenerate. Cannot get 145 wheelbase with SuperCrew. I hated the size with the 6’7” bed. Ride comfort is also noticeably less, rightfully so.

For all those reasons and more, I will stay in an F150. I am leaning towards the PowerBoost. I just want to be sure that’s the better option between the two different TTV6 engines.

Well the hardest part is last part. Truck sitting at rail yard 2 hours from dealership for past 4 days. Each day, they think... we should have it today. Yet it does not move. Crazy to think I can get accurate day and time of delivery of valve stems, but not an 80k item. I'm ok with the wait, just not the be ready, oh wait not yet... be ready, we'll not yet, etc, etc. Sorry for the rant, no where else to share the frustration.

Arrived at dealership today. 5 months to the day from order. Tracking site updated about an hour after wheels on ground at dealership. Pick up next week, had eraser sized paint chip on front bumper, dealership repairing.
