I have a 25 RCSB and just got my Stainless Works long tubes on with their high flow cats. Considering removing the cats. As I was filling out the form on Whipples website to request the tune, it has a place to list modifications. I wasn't sure how the cats/no cats would affect the tune so I called them. When I told the guy I had long tubes and asked about the cats or catless, all he would tell me is they don't test with that set up so he didn't know. So the question is, will the whipple canned tune give me any problems? Do I need to just wait it out until someone has the 24+ unlocked? Any thoughts are appreciated.

On order ‘22 RCSB.
You may not care but, whipple warranty is void when changing factory manifolds or cats. Just FYI.
I can’t answer your question.

Right, I've pretty well ditched the warranty on this whole project. LOL

Good. I would GUESS that you'd be better off with the aftermarket cats than no cats, even without a tune specific for them. However, that's just a guess. The stage 2 setup is known for killing stock cats if I remember correctly. I don't believe I would eliminate the cats because presumably the check engine light would come on with a "catalyst efficiency below threshold" code stored, and the exhaust will also stink, though that wouldn't be a big deal I suppose.

That's really cool! Each one actually has a mini cat converter inside it, so theoretically no matter what, gases reaching your rear sensors will have been treated.

That's the way I understood it, we'll see.
