2024 Lariat Upgrading Tow Mirrors

Hello all, Im new to Ford truck and this forum but have years for experience with other brands a sites.

Let me start by saying I know this has been beat to death but looking for clarification as it relates to 24 model year.

My truck is 2024 Lariat EcoBoost, standard Power Mirrors, Power Fold, Blis, and 360 Camera. I installed ML3Z-17696-DA tow mirrors and have confirmed that the telescoping connector, c5020, is not part of my door harness. As other posts have indicated the cameras from my original mirrors needed to be to switched to the new ones. It was very simple and took less then 30 minutes to do both and only required a phillips, T10 and T15 screwdriver. The part numbers for the cameras are very similar ML3T-19J220-BB on stock mirrors and ML3T-19J220-AC on the tow mirrors. But not similar enough...

I am looking for clarification on the correct driver door harness. Post for 21, 22 and 23 150s have indicated that ML3Z-14631-H is the correct harness but i
I have been unable to confirm if it will work on a 24 model.

After I installed the mirrors I've noticed a message on startup the the reverse brake assist is not active. Will I be able to correct that with Forscan?

Any help would be appreciated.

After messing with the cameras you will need to drive it and that message goes away.

Is this harness PNP to the door module? I am looking to do the same swap on my 24 KR and want to make sure I wouldn't need any other parts.

As I understand, it's PNP. But, Forscan is required to activate any options that did not come from the factory.

After the camera swap everything works perfect. The 360 cam and parking lines are close to perfect. I ordered the harness this morning and will update the thread when it comes in.

RL3Z14631E is the driver door. My plan is to repurpose the existing door harness to complete the passage side. I believe the passanger side is different. I will post some pics as I complete it upgrade.

I dont believe you will need to add anything for the passenger side for the telescoping

Thank you Jesse. I hoped that would be the case. When I installed the passanger mirror I noticed that the 22 pin plug only had 1 or 2 open positions. I downloaded the wiring schematics this morning but havent looked through it yet. I will confirm once I've completed the upgrade. Still getting use to how Ford does things.
