Hey everyone I have a 2024 Ford F150 STX the truck is great. I can’t find any thread about the topic that I have listed above.

I do not have the rain sensor so I can’t tap into that. The only thing that I really have is the humidity and temperature sensor that has a pigtail that I can tap into. I can’t find the ground nor can I find the power. I did see one thread that was created four days ago Where someone did a mirror tap on the actual mirror itself but I don’t have any power supply going to the mirror “it does not dim”. Any insight or guidance to help me get my radar detector situated would be extremely helpful. I’m trying not to have to tap into the fuse box or run a power lead from the battery terminal in the engine bay.

I will attach pictures of the area that I am working with for reference.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the same problem trying to figure out where to pull power from.

okay so instead of crying about it I've decided to do something to help... well mostly myself... but i thought this might keep some of you from falling into the pit of despair.

This is for a 2024 STX 2.7TT with basically no options except a locker so I don't have the fancy mirror to tap into.

So here's what you do:

1. pop out the overhead console
2. find the yellow wire in the bottom left corner of the plug(+)
3. find the black wire on the right side of the plug (mine was all by itself) (-)
4. find a way to pin the radar power and grounds into their respective counterparts
Note: the pins will need to be thin, lik the size of a needle, as the wires are small as is the plug
this is what i did:

A lot of members on here just run a 2 wire across the headliner, down the A pillar and fuse tap in the fuse box by the passengers feet. Consant and switched power available. Ground screw right beside the fuse box. There are many threads on here about connecting dash camera and radar detectors this way.
