The dealer has seen the evidence of the leak dripping from the lights in and around the overhead console. In the beginning they were able to reproduce it. Now they say they can not but every time I get it back from them, the truck shows me again it leaks. If I leave the shade open it leaks on the passenger side, when the shade is closed it comes through and around the overhead console. Granted, it isn't leaking as much as it was when it began, it still is concerning as potential damage to the electronics in the overhead console. I have suggested the seal replacements as a potential fix to no avail. I have shown them that the roof has more give to a light touch on the passenger side than the driver's side. I have shown them the roof wasn't flush on all sides. They readjusted it, this was when it appeared to get a bit better. Still leaks. In my further investigation, I have discovered that excessive water is pooling in the front center under the roof. I took the evidence of this to dealer and showed them.

My truck has been in for this repair 4 times and needs a 5th. I picked it up on the 4th time after seeing it sitting on the lot in the same spot for days on end. Yes, I had a loaner car, but this is ridiculous. I finally talked them into reaching out to FORD, this was over a week ago. They say they have not received a response yet. This has been going on for months and it would be great if someone could fix it. The truck is now almost 11 months old and only has 8,500 miles on it. I absolutely love my truck with the exception of this.

Would love to get a resolution. Any ideas?

Have they checked the drain channels to make sure nothing is clogging them? Someone posted recently an acorn was stuck in a drain tube and caused a leak.

That sucks, hopefully it gets fixed. On my app. I received campaign 25B08 Trough assembly replacement and repair. Which was under the customer satisfaction section, Which I believe regards the drainage tray at the front of the moon roof assembly. Have they mentioned this?

Welcome to our community Brenda. I'm sorry that your first post is a problem with your truck.

If you do a search within this forum you will see lots of discussion about this issue.

Also, (as I have a 2024 Lariat) there is a FORD recall campaign "Customer Satisfaction Program 25B08" that I have received and as Ryan has mentioned above. Your dealer should know about this (although it appears there is a considerable wait for the parts on back order) but if not you can certainly quote it to them....

Good luck

Yes, on the first and subsequent visits the drains were inspected and were found clear all the way through. No obstructions found.

Thank you so very much. I truly appreciate your help with this. Hoping this will take care of it. I did a search within the forum but somehow missed the Customer Satisfaction Program.

Thanks so very much! I will pass this information along to my dealer. I have repeatedly asked them to contact FORD telling them about the issue. I actually had to stand there and coach them through this to get them to open a ticket with FORD.

Thanks again.

Sent the Customer Service Program information to the dealer and verified that they received it. Their response was yes, they received it and will look into it. For some reason I have no faith in this.
