2024 Dual Exhaust Confusion? - Lariat BAP 5.0L - 157"WB

It’s definitely the 157” wheelbase. I don’t think Fords dual setup is made for that length and it reverts to single exit from memory. Ford Accessories sells the slide on chrome tip for 100 bucks. That’s what I threw on mine.

You could just do something like this for under 100 bucks.

Honestly.. the whole "Dual Exhaust" thing on a truck has always been a 50/50 thing for me. On some trucks it looks good (ie. my RAM Rebel, with big black-chrome tips.. and the way it fits with the bumper).

My favorite truck exhaust was a Dakota R/T 5.9 many years ago with a custom exhaust. It had 4" exhaust (not a tip), coming out of the back passenger corner, on a 45-degree angle down towards the road and 45 degrees to the bed side. The end of the pipe was cut on a 45 degree angle to be parallel to the road, and it stuck down maybe 2 inches from the bottom of the bumper. On that truck, it looked sick. Stealthy but noticeable that something was going on.

I agree with you, even the 2024 duals on the F150 are thin walled and seem to small for the molded bumper opening.

That single tip you have there looks great, any idea of brand or purchase place?

The best place to buy that black top is stage3motorsports.com. It’s a ford black chrome top. Did it on my truck looks great.

You do have to trim 7.5 inches off of the current exhaust "tip" for the pictured fit (per instructions).



BTW.. this info comes from the top image search results from Google. I have no personal experience with it. I might look into a chrome version for my soon to be delivered (hopefully) truck.

I went through the exact same thing. Am in Canada as well. BAP on long bed doesn't include dual exhaust as other mentioned. I ordered my truck back in November 2023 and I wanted a longer bed and dual exhaust and Ford only offers it in Short bed.

Decided to go for the short bed, because the Super duty will have the longer bed, so I'll have that need met.

I need some clarification. I ordered a 2024 Lariat BAP 5.0L with a PAT, It finally arrived! As I circled the truck to my dismay it had a thin walled silver single exit rear exhaust. I was shocked and a little pissed off (1st world problems I know) But I was under the impression it would be built with the black dual exhaust.

Can any help me with some clarification here as to why it does not? Some factors I am considering that might be the issue.

-It's a 157" Wheelbase mode
-It has the added factory step?
-It has a PAT (high doubt this would affect it)

For a $95,000 (CDN$) Truck I feel like this is a cheap looking setup.

I've waited a few months for this and the dealer didn't seem to know any reason why it would/wouldn't have duals. He said I could order another one but when built on the Ford builder it shows the dual exhaust and I really don't want to wait again

I really want the black pre-axle CORSA so that just might be an excuse.

Hey I’ve been wondering the same thing I ordered/built my 24 f150 back in February I got the lariat power boost 6.5” box fx4 with the BAP and tow mirrors… It was FINALLY delivered September 19th…. anyway I was under the impression that it’d have the blacktip dual exhaust. But like you to my frustration it didn’t. But what pissed me off even more was the missing paint and major orange peel paint all over my truck. I’ll attach pictures it’s freaking brutal…

Oh shit! that's wild it was able to get passed QC measures. Have you been in contact with the dealership? I'd be parking it on their front lawn.

Relatively easy solution is to just retrofit the dual exhaust bumper ends like us 2018 guys did back in the day. We bought the brackets and bumper ends from the 2019 Limited (Raptor motor and first F150 with dual cutouts). Parts are pretty cheap but you do need to have them painted. Then head up to your local muffler shop and have them bend and weld some pipe.

Now, if I want dual exhaust, what trim do I order for 2025? I am wanting a 5.0L V8 Lariat, can I get it with dual exhaust? I do not see that as an option or included on the Ford.com build site.
I believe that the Tremor has dual exhaust but in what engine?

@JExpedition07, @Cconnss do you think you can give me the part number for the bumper assembly on y'alls trucks? I'm picking up a '24 Lariat in Avalanche but it unfortunately does not have BAP from the factory. I'm trying to look for parts to replace the chrome parts and I'm having trouble figuring out which part number the rear bumper is.
