It's not officially announced by the manufacturer, but if your truck is completely up to date (likely requires FDRS) and you have Bluecruise, you are already experiencing the improvements in Lane Centering and BC engagement stability of 1.3-1.4

You do NOT yet have the added features of handsfree lane changing or lane bias away from large adjacent vehicles. Those 2 features can't be enabled until the option to enable them is available on the Sync screen.

Those without Bluecruise, but also completely up to date on all available updates, will also experience the same improvements to Lane Centering and the additional stability of staying engaged.

For the record, the Mach-E came with BC 1.3 from Ford. Which just makes it all the more frustrating for folks that have Mach-E and Lightnings and F150's that are 100% equipped for BC 1.3+ but are waiting FOREVER (it feels) for Ford to OTA them successfully.

I know Ford must really really want to succeed at this. They wrote and developed the software side and are sending out new vehicles pre-loaded with it. They KNOW it's a much more polished Bluecruise & ACC/Lane Centering package. They know the customer will be far more pleased.

They just aren't competent at OTA deployment of the files.
If they aren't competent at the updates how competent are they at something infinitely more complicated like BlueCruise?

The competency that I was specifically speaking to is a method of delivery.

Writing firmware directly over wire while physically connected to the module(s) has been a tried and true delivery mechanism for many years.

Accomplishing the same outcome remotely, while the vehicles are parked in a driveway or being driven to the office? I realize it doesn't sound like it would be something littered with potential pitfalls, but I think current and recent history reflects.

Not making excuses for Ford's (and others) struggles with the brave new FNV frontier, but I'm not really surprised by it.

Again, it's not been that big of a deal for me personally because I choose to take their weaknesses out of the ownership experience in every way I can. This forum deserves 100% of the credit for revealing the options that I have.

By the way, Bluecruise 1.4 is fantastic in ideal conditions. I've used it for many thousands of miles. Writing software appears to be less of a challenge for Ford than getting it rolled out to the masses retroactively.
