Did you have to remove the number or anything. What parts did you use from the kit? Lola great
Yes I removed the bumper to be able to bolt some screws if I remember correctly. But overall it was like one hour job.

So I removed the bumper with airdam(s) and replaced it with a ranchhand (summit) bumper. I put some dielectric grease in the plug, taped it up, and ziptied it up out of the way in a protected spot. No hard codes. My experience with the gas mileage was significantly more than mentioned in this thread. My average highway mileage (at 75mph) went from 19 to just under 16, or almost a 20% drop in fuel economy. That equates to 109 miles less per tank of gas. Mileage under 50mpg did not change significantly.

I got a 25 XLT looks the same as yours. I’m going to buy the kit. Did you use these parts in the picture?

Hi, I didn’t use any of that. We placed the skid plate close to the original plastics and we cut them to make them look OEM. Then we installed properly and it looked perfect for me. I think it looks good.

Hi I removed the air dam and added the temor skid plate to my 2024 stx. No issues and looks way better. Fuel economy on highway is a little worse but not bad.

Are those the stock wheels, and also what brand and size tires? Am the new owner of a 2025 STX V8 and your truck looks great. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Yes stock wheels and the tires are the following. Keep in mind I lifted the truck with fox coil overs and rear blocks to raise it evenly with factory rake. No rubbing at all.

Thanks much for the quick reply. I am installing the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2R kit, to level the truck, also my 2025 came with 20" wheels, so will likely be going with 285/65/r20's which will be about the same diameter (<.25" dia) as your setup but just a shorter side wall. Anyway thanks again, your truck looks great and now am I am thinking about doing the skid plate too.

Awesome, your truck is going to transform. I hate those air dams so much. Trucks should be off road ready from factory. Luckily it’s pretty easy to add the skid plates and tires. Post pictures when your truck is ready.
