2024 Active Airdam removal - Any Issues

I have searched on here and also with the google and while I see that many people have removed the active airdam ( either because it broke, or they wanted to or because they went with the tremor skid plate). However, I have not heard of anyone with a 2024 doing this. I know the tremor skid plate only says 21-23. I did not know if anyone with a 2024 has done it and if so did you get any hard codes or just the soft code. Thank you everyone in advance for your help

To add to the post. I guess I could always just zip tie the motors to the frame and keep them plugged in.

Awesome so this will make it not work if I leave it on or once I remove everything this will keep it from throwing codes

Thank you @Aonarch i did the Forscan change this morning and removed the active air dam part. I am going to remove the rest this week

Hi I removed the air dam and added the temor skid plate to my 2024 stx. No issues and looks way better. Fuel economy on highway is a little worse but not bad.

Truck looks great. I plan to do the Tremor Skid Plate at some point down the road. Right now I just wanted to get the airdam out of the way

You will love the look. On my 24 I only used the skid plate and hardware. The rest was unused as the parts are for the 23 models. The bumpers are a little different. I use my original plastic parts on the bottom of the bumper but we cut them to fit the skid plate and they look 100% factory. The skid plate fits pefectly in the original chasis holes.

Just curious. I have a 6" lift on my truck since day 1. Never thought to much about the active airdam
tell I read this. Since my truck is lifted isn't my airdam pretty much worthless and do nothing anyways?

Maybe I lost one MPG at the most. It is hard to tell since I added tires too. But nothing terrible that will ruin the “efficiency” of the motor.
Look way better IMO.

I just disabled mine in forscan and no issues. Hard to tell If I lost any MPG as well since it has been cold
