I purchased wheel liners from Ford and my dealer installed them for me during final prep. I am picking it up on Saturday. Nothing that I could see was removed from my order. Dealer did say that certain things are being removed. i.e. Heated steering wheels because the chips are very tough to get still at this time. My truck was filthy as well when I looked at it yesterday. Let's hope there are no scratches.

08182022: Ordered Truck
08182022: Received "Order Confirmed" email from Ford
10022022: Received email from Ford, basically saying, it's been a while, but we will give updates at least every 45 days.
10052022: Received email from dealer that said Heated Steering Wheel & Heated Mirrors are Removed
10102022: Received emial from dealer that said Heated Mirrors are back
10132022: Received "Scheduled For Production" email from Ford. Week of 11/21/2022
11182022: Noticed @ Ford Tracker, now shows "In Production", and Window Sticker is present
12012022: Ford Tracker now shows "Built" (with a date of 11/30/2022 under it).
12022022: Received email from Ford that says that its been built and "Our current estimate for delivery to Granger Motors, Inc. is between Dec 11, and Dec 17.
12272022: Received email from Ford that says "To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2023 F-150 Tremor is delivered...", and the updated estimated delivery date is now between Dec 23 and Dec 29.
12302022: I got an email from the Dealer. She was responding to my questions about the Ford email and the whole biz about ensuring complete satisfaction. She didn't have any answers on that front, but she did share what she's seeing on her end....which she is now seeing an estimated ship date of Jan 1-7. She had some more detials, so maybe this is more of a "real" date now? The previous statuses where also "Awaiting Shipment" and the secondary status was "Released". Now the seconday status says "Origin Received". Also, the previous "Vehicle Location" was very general, and now a Ramp number is listed.
01062023: Emailed my Dealer today to see if she was seeing any update. She got back right away, and let me know what she was seeing....and updated ETA of Jan 9-15. On my 4th ETA now.
01102023: Received email from Ford, like the one on 12302022, with ETA of Jan 9-15.
01162023: Emailed Dealer for an update, reply is that ETA is now Jan 13-19
01232023: Emailed Dealer for an update, reply is that ETA is now Jan 21-27...for my 6th ETA
01262023: Received email from Ford that my truck has shipped, and the new ETA is now Jan 24-30. The tracker has also changed from Built, with a green dot in Built, to what is shown below.

This is great news so you should have it very soon !!!! BTW AMB is really nice much better in person than in pictures.

Maybe I will get it soon. While it supposedly has been shipped, it's on its way to Kansas City, via railcar I think. There are been some horror stories about trucks getting to KC and just sort of staying there for way too long. At this point, I'm keeping my hopes low until the dealer says come get it.

I'm going to wait on the wheel liners. I think if I had a light colored truck, especially white, then I would probably put them in. Given AMB is fairly dark, I'm not I'm going to really want them.

I am picking it up tomorrow morning. I am like a kid on Christmas morning!

Funny, until I read about them and watched a few videos about it, it never really bothered me either. I just felt it was unfinished without them installed.

I hope you get your truck real soon!

Well that sounds promising!

Has anyone posted what rates Ford seems to be offering??
You took it more positive than I did. I took it as a another missed and extended ETA.

When I first ordered, way back in August, my first guess about possession was April 1. But, when I got an email saying it was going to be Built in Nov, I thought...wow, I could have my truck before Christmas!

At this point, I'm a little beat up, and little hope remains....just waiting for the dealer to say...."It's ready to be picked up".

My "status" just changed to "Built," and I was told my Ford Customer Care 2 weeks ago that it was scheduled (for what that's worth) to be done by Feb 3, so I have a little hope going on.

If I heard in a week or 10 days it was shipping I'd be feeling pretty good.

Mind you, I sold my car to the kids two weeks ago and have been using the office car to get back and forth to work and while thankful, I hate the car!

If only getting to "Built " was the only issue. I can see if you don't have the parts, the build process has to be extended, but once the vehicle is done, why can't they fix their shipping issues?

My truck was built 11/30/2022. So it was "done", but for some reason, they don't have the abilty to get it to the dealer in what I would call a reasonable amount of time. I mean, it's been over two months, and I don't have any real confidence that are going to get it there anytime soon.

So all of this is just to say, even if you get to Built status....who knows how much longer you are going to have to wait until it actually arrives at the dealership.

Glad to see your truck is inching closer to you even though the ETA dates keep getting pushed back.

I've followed your thread for so long I feel like I know have a vested interest in how this turns out.

I have a tough time making decisions, so I sort of agonize over many details. I did this when I placed the orderd many months ago. All was settled at the time of ordering, but with the large amount of time that has elapsed, I've been second guessing some decisions. The main one has been color. But others creep in from time to time...."maybe I should have gotten the upgraded stereo verus the bed utility package"....etc.

I've said it before, the process sort of always keeps you "hoping". You get an email saying you have a build week in mid Nov, and you start to think...hey....maybe I'm close. Then you get a "Built" date of 11/30/2022, and you start thinknig.....whew...I dodged the chip hold and she's built....I might have her by Christmas....but it's just delay, delay, delay.
