That's fair. Granger is still a dealership with a local market and I can understand their approach to inventory models. They aren't making much money, if any, on the orders especially at 4% under invoice or similar on other Ford models ordered through them. I think they are getting volume kickbacks from Ford for volume sales with the special orders and then run their inventory lot like a typical dealership. Whether the person you spoke to knows anything about incentives or not it fairly typical, as I'm sure you'd agree.
Still, you're are the first person that hasn't had a glowing review about Granger that I have seen so I wanted to ask. To me, it makes sense for them to run their inventory lot like a normal dealership. I ordered my '24 from them and I am looking forward to having a pleasant experience at a car dealership. The only other great experience I have ever had at a car dealer was at Park Place Lexus in Plano, TX.
yeah I’d imagine if I dug further/spoke to someone else it would’ve been fine and sorted out. Unfortunately the truck sold next day.

Is anyone still finding deals out there on 2023s or would I just be better off getting a 2024 at this point? I got an out the door price of 59768 (selling price 57504) on this one and that doesn't seem all that great since it was a loaner too with 4k miles. I was trying to take advantage of the 1.9% financing on 2023s right now and kind of prefer the look of the 2023.

Keep shopping you will be able to get better pricing soon.
The SECOND '24s start hitting the lots the '23s will drop in price.

Truth. Until the 2024s are out there, dealerships will keeps acting like 2023 is the current year as they don't have an alternative.

I just can't find a 2023 loaded regular cab with the 5.0 and nonwhite paint..3 weeks ago I found one with 4×4 at $49,000.00 plus MSRP and skipped past it as the Florida dealership had it priced at that plus dealer addons. But only a unicorn 2023 AND invoice pricing would temp me.

I live in Canada and was getting a 2024 XLT priced from my local dealer. When that was done, my salesman asked me if I had a special reason not to look at a 2023 version. He told me that the only difference was the front shell "coast to coast". So I told him to go ahead and hunt for a few 2023 with the options that I wanted, in his own dealership and also others. I ended up with a fully equipped Lariat at 2023 price minus 5k$ Ford rebate and 3k$ dealer rebate (Canadian dollars). So the out the door price was less then a 2024 XLT. Really happy. I almost lost the chance though. My dealer was so slow in the hunting that I went from 2 full pages of available choices to only 3 vehicules available. I had to sit in my salesman office and tell him that I would not get out of his office until my truck was secured. I even had to call the owning dealer myself to have the truck released for me. I should maybe go part time as a Ford salesman ?

My local dealerships are not budging on the 2023s. I have been in the market and looking. The dealerships know there is blood in the water but insist on keeping high prices on the 2023s. My quote from Granger on a 2024 is less than my local dealerships want to move a 2023. Crazy times...

Same. Just a few crazy examples

denver 2500 over sticker unwilling to negotiate

Texas multiple dealers advertising great prices but then have 3-5k in mandatory add ons

Albuquerque 6600 mile loaner wants MSRP

Arizona 4500 mile loaner also wants MSRP

California dealer advertised like 16k off. Told me the deal was only good for February and didn’t get back to me in time to pull the trigger. Truck ‘sold’ and since they then had so few 23s left reduced the rest to only $5k off and won’t budge HAHAHA

There are still deals to be had. There are a lot of 2023's left on the lots. At lest in my area. I just purchased a 23 XLT that had an msrp of $65,990 for $54, 550. Got a heck of a deal on my trade in, too. Plus, I got the 1.9% for 72 months.
