2022 F150 Platinum - Seats Cracking

I have a 2022 Platinum with <30k miles and this is what the drivers seat looks like. The passenger seat is almost cracking as well.
Anyone else had this issue? Any luck with getting Ford to replace the seats while it’s still under warranty?

Not sure why Ford thought it was a good idea to have a sharp edge on the plastic seat base. I haven't paid attention to mine but hopefully someone chimes in. I may try to find an edge guard or something to run along that edge

My 2022 Platinum seats look the same. It appears it is from the sharp edge on the plastic seat trim. I am thinking about putting some rubber edging on it.

yup that sharp edge is famous
i used rubber bulb seal and in my new ride some black carpet mat cut to a 2 inch wide strip

they’re ordering new bottom seat cushions. Good on them, it’s still under warranty but I wouldn’t have been shocked if they said they wouldn’t do anything.

Anyone got a good suggestion for a rubber U-seal that I could put around the plastic edge to dull the sharp edge?

I put some black plastic door edge guards on the sharp edge and it seems to help pretty well
