Am I weird for not even noticing CD on my truck with a stock exhaust? I have less than 1k miles driving though. Maybe I’ll notice later.

Not unless I’m weird as well.
I can’t hear or feel a thing when it drops to 4cyl mode.
I do, however, feel the hit when I hit the gas and all eight start working

Maybe I’ll have to pay closer attention. I also drive like a grandpa ?

If it's anything like my current Silverado, it's almost unnoticeable with the stock exhaust. However, if you add an aftermarket exhaust, it is very noticeable and very annoying.

Only reason I noticed is magnaflow exhaust. I would leave it on if I knew it wouldn’t damage the engine, so far I have found nothing statistically that says it’s a good thing. Most that have stock exhaust can’t even tell it’s on

Yup, stock, i cant hear it. Magnaflow catback....sounded like a Honda with a fart pipe...off in less than 2 weeks

We have a huge briefcase of a muffler. It's designed to quiet that stuff. When you have an aftermarket exhaust you will be amazed how you never heard that horrible cyl deactivation stuff.
