Hey guys! I got my 2022 f-150 xlt 2.7 a week ago and it seems like I have a huge gas problem! Today I drove around 20 miles but my miles to E went from 390 to 270... I drive in eco, I have 99% on the eco coach, plus I always drive under 3 rpm no matter what. and I am not leaking fuel. I have just shy of 450 miles. Does anyone else have the same issue or know how to fix it?

Also do not know if this matters but I leave it in my girlfriend's driveway all day which has a slight incline, not sure if that affects it or not.

Uh oh. Did someone siphon your gas out of your tank when you were with your girl?

No, I mean like the gas didnt empty out before I drove, its like while I drive I lose that much gas.

No worries, nothing is wrong. It takes a rolling average mpg. Sometimes you are doing really well at the end of a drive and then the next one is worse. If the average mpg for its rolling loop drops by 1 and you have a 36 gallon tank, 36 miles disappear.

I have also done the opposite. I drove 200 miles, leaving with 520 miles to E and arriving with 532 miles to E

These trucks like to drink gas that's for sure. I wouldn't worry too much about what the computer says.

Fill up the tank, keep track of your miles and hand calculate the MPG. You will likely be somewhere in the 16-20 on your first tank. It will get better as you approach the end of the break in period and first oil change.

The way the computer calculates is really dependent on how the driver is/has drove the vehicle from the last cycle and the current cycle. Last time I filled up, truck said 36 DTE. Only took 29 gallons to fill the 36 gallon tank. So maybe I had a 100 miles or more left? A lot of my trips are short and I don't believe short trips help the computer become more accurate.
