I've always had a thing and built/owned sport trucks.

A change of the times; 90s/00s were the sport truck/street truck days with the Typhoon, Lightning, SRT10, 454SS, Silverado SS etc and now it's all lift/off road when 90% of the trucks don't leave the pavement!

Got the Raptor style 20s with Michelin X-Ice mounted today. Expedition rear axle studs are longer than F-150 hence why the rear caps are off. Picked these up like new for nearly half the cost from a guy who traded in his F150.
Some Expedition folk grind down the axle stud or install 10mm hubcentric spacer. I'm going to leave it for now.

Decided to change out the BAP front grille. Ordered a paint to match STX grille. Once it arrives, I'll send it off to paint for straight gloss black to keep true to the BAP package. Should look good with the hood and get rid of the straight bar grille. Will post pics whenever I get around to swapping it.

The hood for the BAP models is different from the non-BAP hood. I do not think that the non-BAP grille will fit your with your hood. Your hood is a straight line from fender to fender above the grille, while non-BAP truck hoods have a raised relief in the center to accomodate the taller non-BAP grilles. Before you paint that, you may want to confirm fit.

Dealer and bodyshop guy says it won't fit but from this thread and a few other reads, small modification should work.

Have it painted and waiting for warmer weather to do the swap.

Thanks for sharing that. I did not order my truck with the BAP because I hated the grille. I chose to buy it without BAP and change everthing else over to black myself. My painted Platinum grille looks way beter that the chrome one. Ford should have sold it that way in the first place on a BAP.

Did you ever work out the front height sensors? I'm facing the same thing. I considered testing shorter arms from another vehicle, so the system would get some data.
