So I just bought a new to me 2021 Lariat (50k miles) about two weeks ago. This past weekend while running errands I lost assisted power steering while backing out of a tight parking lot. I pulled off to the side and turned the truck off and let it sit for a minute turned it back on and the steering was fine but got CEL for an electrical issues involving the engine knock senors. Fast forward to this morning and the CEL went away but my driver side window won’t go down and when I’m backing up I get a loud static sound for a few seconds over the speakers. This is my first F150 so just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues and what the resolve is. Truck is still under warranty.

Good afternoon. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this electrical concern on my end?

Probably a bad battery. See my thread -> https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/power-steering-loss.21057/

Make sure to do the battery module reset process after you install a new battery.
"Now, for a battery relearn, switch the ignition on, with the engine off. Pull and release the high beam 5 times. Press and release the brake pedal 3 times. If You've done this correctly, the battery light will flash 3 times within 15 seconds of completion."

Also make sure OTA updates are on, since it's likely Ford has updated software to help with this condition.

Really hoping it’s the battery. Battery looks to be the original. Funny enough I had a rental last year which was a 2023 Lariat that ended up having a bad battery. Truck drove fine for two days then battery was completely dead

Yup. Easy and cheap trip to walmart to get an h7 or h8. Motorcraft batteries have a bad rep.
