2021 F-150 Tremor Scheduled

Man, every since Granger Ford came in here and updated us on this months wholesale numbers...this thread has really lost some steam. Basically just came in here and took a dump right on our chests.

You got that right, I been monitoring it the past couple of days and it been silence. I feel like ordering this truck was pointless and I also feel that the dealers knew this. My dealer as not said two words to me about anything relating to status or the such. It wouldn't surprise me if it gets pushed to 2022 and I'm willing to bet if one has waited and ordered when 2022 order bank had opened, it would have yielded the same results. Then to top things off (not that I haven't been negative enough) all I have been seeing are articles and YouTubers talking about the semiconductor shortage is confirmed to be extremely short supply till 2023.......

Just spoke to the dealer that has a very comparable build incoming. Its getting built this week and they expect it to hit their lot mid/late October. I figure by mid October we should have a solid understanding where our retail orders stand.

Question about the Torsen, think this is something that a dealer would order in and install in their service department? I know its common in the raptor world for second-hand owners to add Torsen front diffs to non-torsen optioned trucks.

Yes its possible to add after the fact. It'll just cost a lot more. Link below shows that Ford Performance will sell you the front diff for $650. You may need a new front differential cover for another $150. Labor and additional shop costs should be around $800 to $1k.

Front diff install is one of those jobs where if the labor quote comes in low, I'd be kind of worried about the work. Assuming you don't know the mechanic well.

I believe the FB group guy had OXFORD white and it was dealer ordered if I'm thinking of the same post.

Could be someone who had their dealer submit as stock, talking about a SD or just plain FoS.

FoS for sure. Tremor isn't offered in space white.
