Finally got my truck from the dealership yesterday afternoon. Other than the details mentioned below, the truck is truly a beauty, and worth the wait. I'm sorry for those still waiting while this whole mess clears up which I hope happens sooner than later.
When I originally placed my retail order back on 01/22, I was told the wait would be approx 4-6 months. I was shocked to see thing right before four month's time even with the week Ford pushed my production out. We still have another Platinum on order with another dealership, and this second one is taking much longer.
Regarding the Plat received......
2022 F-150 Platinum 4x4, 701A Group, Agate Black, Black Interior, 3.5L Powerboost Hybrid, 7.2kw Power OnBoard, Max Recline, Bluecruise, Twin Panel Moonroof, Onboard Scales, CCD, Telescopic Mirrors, etc.
I did not order Adaptive Steering on this truck, but the dealership had me sign an acknowledgement on the AS removal anyhow.
I thought only 2021 model orders would sign this form as the feature was standard on early 2021 Platinum models, but was included as a separate add-on for 2022.
Active Park Assist 2.0 Removal was indicated on the Windows Sticker, and was indeed removed. (This is the only feature that was part of my order, and was stripped.) The actual APA button is still on the truck though, but function-wise points to the rear parking sensor configuration (Enable/Disable.)
Ambient Lighting is available at the foot-wells, all four doors, and rear console, but is excluded on media bin, and cup holder. I purchased the cup holder part from Ford earlier with the rings, and accessories to complete the lighting locations. (Working on getting the harness this week.)
The license tag lights are in fact standard 2700k, so those will be swapped to LED. No light in glove compartment, and no digital reading on temp control knobs. Will be connecting harness and lights to GC, and will maybe look into swapping the temp control portion.
Things to add in the next week or so:
Line-X Bed Liner, Husky X-act Contour Series Front & Rear Liners, Stubby Antenna, 2-inch Leveling Kit, Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares, Tinted Windows. (Still need to decide on rims and tires.)
