Who updates this and where do they get the info from?

Do the users have to submit it to be updated or is the admin doing it?

The way I understand it.

Users submit there information and update it using the Change Request Form.

Admin has to approve the changes though I think.

The data points that would be most interesting is #days order to VIN broken up by trim and region. I thought I saw that at one point, but don't see it now.

I have a similar order (9/28/21, 12/17/22) and a similar build. Powerboost, 6.5, no moon roof. Carbonized gray.

Only 2 months ago did we remove bed-liner and tonneau. No vin, no build date, my dealer knows nothing.

Just know you have company. My dealer didn't know anything and for the most part still doesent. They seem to be in the dark on specifics. I highly credit the guys here, within these forums, that give us insight.

Wow, such a quick turn around! Can you post your order? I ordered similar on 3/24/22 but added spray in bed and retractable tonneau cover. Not sure if certain things will hold up and delay or if you just got lucky and hit it just right.

I was/am expecting sometime in Sept but hopeful for sooner

Also, did you order from a larger dealer?

here Is a screenshot of my order. Intentionally left out spray-in bed liner and tonneau cover (will get those after) and added adaptive steering. Thought about leaving out BAP because people said that Was causing a delay but decided it was worth the wait.
but the order sheet almost doesn’t matter because I’m expecting that the active park assist will be removed (I do want that lol). On the online order tracker, it says “active 2.0 prep package” and “active drive assist prep kit” and I don’t know what “prep” really means.

Just about the same as mine although I left retractable tonneau cover and spay in bed liner. Also added tow mirrors, mud flaps and max reline seats

Also after configuring my truck on Ford site, saved my image and then added that to my sig and it reduced it. The red truck is my order.

I feel like we're all thinking it, but not saying it, but does anyone else feel like the agreed pricing/profit for ford and dealer come into play as far as who gets built and who doesn't?

I got, what I consider a sweet deal from a small local Ford dealer. The big brand name dealer didn't want to come within 5k of what the little guy offered. But here I am 6 months out with no VIN.

I know dealer size/reputation plays in, if only because they have better Ford reps pulling strings.

Do you use any car maintenance app you can recommend? I have recently found this ARBA Drivers Club app. As for me, it's pretty effective and shows real consumption and spending level.

I am confused as to which number on my order document is the number I need to submit for tracking. Is it the 4 digit "Order Code"? If so, mine is 4 numbers. There is no letter like some people have posted.

This has absolutely nothing to do with it. ZERO!

Ford dealers are awarded truck allocation based on sales of that model previously.

If your dealer only sold ten truck all year the year before they will likely get only ten or less this year.

Ya you saved some money but are in allocation hell.

The only thing preventing you from getting a vin is your dealer most likely.

They could care less about what deal you got lol
