Ordered my New Lease on 4/29/2021: 2021 F-150 Lariat , Antimatter Blue and Baha Tan interior,4x4, Super-crew, 5’5 Bed, Max tow package with 20” wheels, 360 degree cameras, power Folding tow mirrors, 7.2 KW Power on Board, spray in bed liner, soft tonneau cover, wheel well liners. Added weather tech floor liners and no drill Mud flaps at the dealers. Received Vin and order number end of May from Dealer and followed on Ford site. Build week was 07/28 2021. Showed in production until end of September when it changed to built and was delivered a few days later. Built in Dearborn, Mi and Delivered to Dealer on 10/04 2021 and I took Delivery from Dealer on 10/07/21 and turned in my 2018 F-150 Lariat 3.5 Ecoboost Lease with 32,200 miles and about 21 days left on 36 month lease.

Smoked Quartz King Ranch PowerBoost 4x4, 601A High, chrome pack, mono paint, 360 cams, tow pack, tow mirrors, moonroof, 7.2kW ProPower, interior work surface. I also decided to add the Ford-supplied spray-in liner and 3-fold tonneau. They may add delays, but I just didn't want to deal with them post delivery.

The dealer is saying mid-February. I'm expecting anywhere between then and April. We'll see.

Mine took just over 5 months but I was actually fine with it because I had my lease until end of October and needed to tow my 20 ft boat and my 30 ft camper at end of September. Didn’t want to have to tow with the new truck not broke in with at least the 1000 miles they recommend. If it would have come in few days earlier though I wouldn’t have had to make my last lease payment on my 2018 F-150 Lariat. I put 2200 miles on the new Hybrid F-150 in the first week after I picked it up on 10/07/21. Took it on trip to Maryland so now it’s broke in for towing anyway but bad start to my lease miles of 12,000/yr.

9 days later no VIN or updates from dealer or Ford. Started getting nervous after reading about the BAP orders causing delays, reached out to the dealer for an update, anticipating deleting the BAP and was given a VIN and build date of 12\01\2021. Did the truck gods smile down on me?

Lol... same question. I just deleted mine to hopefully get my truck before next summer. At this point I guess I don't care. I prefer cloth in the winter and summer anyway.

You guys are making me more nervous, I texted the dealer back and asked him if he was sure about that. And provided the following pictures, when I asked why does the Primary Status show as Order Processing, his response was that "they all say that, your build date is 12/01/2021 if you're a good boy Santa might bring you a new truck".

I'm completely new to the build your own truck game, so any info you guys can share will help. Am I looking at something wrong?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s no XLT black appearance package in your order. My order confirmation sheet has it listed out.

So even though the XLT Sport Appearance Package "Includes" the Blacked out handles, bumpers and grill... thats not considered the BAP? I went back through my build, and did not see any options for the BAP, I guess I figured this was it. Was there a specific option for the BAP during the build process? I remember telling the dealer I didn't want chrome anywhere and he swore this selection would guarantee me that.
The only curve ball I received so far was I selected the tailgate step, he called me about an hour later and said I needed to add the Bed Utility Package.

Neither of you are wrong. With the sport package there won’t be any chrome. The black appearance package is new for 2022 and adds some unique options.
