A couple of things:
1. The border crossing reminder is fed to the IPC from the APIM in '21-'23 trucks. Either the same is true for '24 and later, or that now appears as a setting in the APIM when you enable CPBCRS. What value do you have for the asterisk here:
7D0-09-04xxxxxxxxx*--
?
2. In the SYNC screen, there should be something like Settings > General > Default Units. If set to metric, the speedo shows km/h only. Enabling speedo in mph in the IPC then shows both, with km/h above and mph below. Have you checked that SYNC setting? I don't have a HUD so I don't know if that helps.
- I have ‘0’
- Yes, when I enable mph in IPC it shows both. Miles below and kmph above, and looks like HUD shows whatever is below so mph (if I want to have both options in IPC)

Change the 0 to 4 and reboot the APIM. Then check the IPC first for the border crossing check box. If not there, check the SYNC settings. If not there, reboot the IPC and check the IPC again.

To confirm the second part: if you don't enable speedo in mph and just have the large km/h, does the hud show km/h?

Thank you! I will try that tomorrow.
Yes, it shows kmph if no mph selected.

I am trying to see both options(kmph/mph) in my IPC but always kmph in HUD, and that can only happen if Kmph shows below (maybe country change?? I am not sure)

Country code should already be CA yes? You could try AS (what I have to use) but I doubt it will help any, and if problems arise, change that back.

Yes it’s CA, so when I turn mph being a Canadian it brings it down. So if I change country to US, and select Kmph I am assuming that will bring Kmph down and HUD will show what’s down in this case Kmph?

what’s the easiest way to change country to US? Will it change anything else ?

I don't think you'll need to do that, and yes, there can be unforeseen consequences. If you change SYNC settings default units to imperial, that will allow you to use "speedo in km/h" on the bottom.

it is possible. Just found it in the IPC “easy” menu. Not the As built menu.
So does it let you "wind back" or reset engine hours and idle hours?

I tried both, changing the value to 0 from 4 in 7D0-09-04 for border crossing and imperial- unfortunately none worked.

0- didn’t add border crossing to either IPC or APIM

changing to km/m setting in sync didn’t bring the kmph down when mph was turned on.

hmm, might be Something changed in the '25 IPC.

Yeah, 4 would have done it if anything.

Not sure I get you here. On a '23, changing the default units in sync to "imperial" changes the odometer and all trips to miles and gives a "speedo in km/h" setting in the steering wheel settings menu. That puts a dual speedo with mph larger at the top and a smaller km/h at the bottom.

I also just realised you've got a tremor; does it have the 12" cluster (IPC)? I am assuming so ?

Sorry I meant changing to 4 didn’t do anything.

yes I have 12” IPC. So I didn’t see anything on my screen that says change default. In general- there’s an option to manually change temp from C to F and km to mph, but I don’t see anything that’s says imperial/metric. Maybe can you please send a photo of yours and I can look again?

It's my turn to apologise ?, I forgot that although the APIM drives the IPC display units for trips and odometer, the IPC itself is responsible for the speedo. Therefore, I assume you are configured like this:
Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet IMG_0330
Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet IMG_0331

Which means that as a dual speedo, you get large km/h with small mph at the bottom. You're wanting large single speedo in km/h and as a dual speedo you want large mph and small km/h at the bottom. Here's how: go into FORScan IPC easy mode and change this from imperial to metric:
Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet IMG_0332

Then you will get this result:
Ford F-150 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet IMG_0333

I didn't bother showing single speedo in km/h but it's there. Now, if your theory is right, that the bottom is what shows on the HUD, it's actually that IPC DUSF value that does it. See how you go with that ?

ITS A GO!!!

I just changed my settings to imperial and it works! When I turned kmph its shows both in IPC and kmph in HUD.!! Thank you for all your help!

@SilverPigeon do you know if it’s possible to turn on the chime for blind spot monitoring? Like if I try to signal while my blis light is ON, it will chime?

I don't know if that's possible; I haven't seen a setting that would do it.
