2021 5.0 trans/electrical problems

My 2021 5.0 lariat had a message “shift system fault” come up after being in tow mode. The truck has 155,xxx miles on it. The message now comes up every time I start the truck and I have a yellow power train wrench that is constantly on the dash. I had my local mechanic take a look at it and was told that he couldn’t do anything because it had something to do with ford software. Called local ford dealer and was told it could be that it just needs a software update. After they looked at it I was told they thought it could be the wiring harness in the transmission that needs to be replaced. Quoted $1,500 to do so and said there could be something else when they got into the transmission but they didn’t know. I then asked about the software update and was told it would be $900 to update the truck. I declined both of these services because they seemed a little unsure as to what the problem was. Instead of paying ford for a $900 software update, I bought an SCT and Oz Omega tune for the truck. Hoping it may fix the issue. Loaded the tune to the truck. Tune is great, but didn’t fix any of these issues at all. Tried to clear the codes and they just keep coming back. Any advice or experience with this situation would be greatly appreciated. I’m running out of $$ to fix this thing. Thanks!

**Update** After driving with tune for a couple days. Problem has been completely solved. Not wrench light or shift system fault. Can’t say it’ll fix them all, but if you have this problem instead of paying ford $900 for a software update do yourself a favor and buy a tune for the motor and trans. More HP, torque, no auto stop start and no stupid trans shifts.
