2015-2020 Tonneau on 21+?

Update: I ended up picking up a undercover ultra flex from stage 3 Motorsport. There’s a rep in the forum if anyone needs help ordering. Thanks for any and all input.

Anyone out there successfully move their Tonneau (folding, rollup, retrax, etc) from their older 2015-2020 truck to their 2021 or newer truck? Any major differences?

I mounted a Bakflip MX4 on my 2021 5.5 short bed that was from a 13th gen short bed. works and fits fine, i think the dimensions changed just slightly, but it functions completely fine and looks great.

If it doesn't require bolting on any hardware, it just might fit. When I bought mine, there was a RAM tonneau on it and it fit perfectly.

I put a Bakflip G2 on my 2020, so when I got the 22 my sales person measured the beds; confirmed measures were the same. But more importantly, I went to the Bakflip website and the part numbers for both the 20 and 22 were the same. Obviously this is just a couple of data points, but it indicates that most 20 Tonneau covers will fit 21+.

Full disclosure: I'm waiting until I get the Line-X put in before I install the cover so I have not yet done it. I'm expecting I'll be able to.

I moved an Access Lorado Roll-up cover from a 2016 F150 Supercab to a 2022 F150 Supercab with no issues at all.
