Hey are you able to track my truck again by rail?
You need a railcar number which your dealer can provide, and in a few rare instances, Ford Chat can also provide. Once you get that, there are two rail systems (Norfolk Southern and CSX) that we can query via their phone systems as to that railcar location.

only site I know of that might show something is unitedroad.com. (go to the green "delivery receipts" tab) Mine is not registering anything on that site. Others might have an alternative, as I'm in the same boat as you; my truck is off the train, but I have no status on the last mile of delivery.

I got an auto ramp in NJ as the current destination. I did not catch the date/time.

To do this trace on your own, dial: 800.635.5768

option 2, option 2

for alpha portion, use your keypad and dial 2637#

for numeric, dial 900642#

I wish I knew, I'm only about a day in front of you learning this stuff.

Normally when it's at the terminating destination, the status will say "placed in industry" although the NS tracker might not have that status. The fact that it's in NJ means that it's highly likely to be at the end of the rail line and at an auto railhead. Next step would be on a truck/car carrier to your dealer. And I'm completely blind at this step; some are able to track on unitedroad.com but this has not worked for me and my VIN.

I was able to track my truck with Norfolk Southern.

It's important to note you're not tracking your specific truck when you're using Norfolk Southern Tracking, you're tracking the rail car.

I ended up calling multiple times over 2-3 days. (Ashamed to admit how many times) My first call was when it was about 2 hours east of Kansas City, and it would update whenever it would go through a major city. It was stopped in Decatur, IL for about a day, and made it's way to Elkhart IN pretty quick after that. I think it ended up being a 2 or 3 day trip for the train to make it from KC to Elkhart.

I made an educated guess that my truck was dropped off based on location, google earth, and street view. I used google Earth to find the train station, and street view to find an inventory holding lot that had what looked to be fresh Ford inventory (from a few years ago). I could absolutely be wrong, and my truck could still be on the train, but I doubt it.

I feel like I've lost my sanity tracking this damn truck. haha. My plates expire on my current truck on the 21st of this month, as long as it shows up by then, I'm happy.

Leveled on 285s, tint and toolbox and it’s finished

Any scrubbing with 285s? I got a 2.5 in level installed. Wondering if 295s would scrub, but thinking 285s would be the safe option. What are your thoughts?

you shouldn’t have any issues with a 295, I have always run 295s or 35x12.5s on a 2” kit with no issues.

was a little worried the 285 would be small to what I’m used to, but the truck looks much better in person than it shows in pictures

I run a 295/65 on my 16 and had them on my 13. Perfect size imo with no rub
