Iam having a spray in bed liner ordered my truck on 12/28/2021 still no vin but that’s what Iam hearing is the hold up could be wrong

I had ordered a spray in bed liner and was recently told by my dealer that removing that and the auto start/stop feature would speed things up. That was about 1 1/2 weeks ago and no VIN this week. Ordered on 12/31/21.

Yeah, that is messed up. That is some bad luck. But with the no scheduling for 3/4 weeks, I would think that is the main reason.

Did you ever piss any Ford employee off?

If not, sure you will get VIN once they start the job 2 scheduling.

Nope nothing I talked to the dealer he said something about the spray in bed liner but at the time when that was going on it didn’t affect me

So, ETA of 3/14-3/20 is out the window according to the VVR. It now shows ETA of 3/28-4/6. According to dealer a delay while in transit is the cause? Whatever that means. Ford didn't send an email stating a change in ETA, so I guess I will update y'all in 2 weeks.

So, is this a chip hold, or was something wrong with the build? InProduction.

My guess is this may be the dreaded chip hold. Co pilot 360 Assist(/active) 2.0 is my guess.

I also noticed I have an updated window sticker and ford took it upon themselves to remove auto start/stop with a $50 credit. Now im wondering what this means for me… how much longer damn

I got the same email. I have no idea what it means. I just hope it gets resolved fast. Anyone else got this email and then a built email ??

There taking them out of all the trucks I heard heated seats to then there going to have the dealers put them in at a later date

Hate to rub it in anyones face, but was contacted by my dealer and they notified me my truck shipped by rail car today.
Anyone have an ability to track that info if I have a rail car number?

I believe it’s CSX. Tried calling the tracking line, but they don’t recognize the car initials. Number I was given is TTGX983596
