12inch screen conversion with 8 inch apim

Good afternoon. I read a bunch of comment saying that an swapping APIMs to the 12 inch unit was not necessary with the 12 inch conversion. I've got the new screen in but it will not turn on, I can't help but think it's the two wires on the side of the new nav/apim connector that have no spot to plug into the 8 inch apim. Does anyone have any insight on this or information on how they did their conversion with the 8inch apim?

If you find out post it up, Never could find information on using my stock Apim. I used all the 12" screen parts.

Make sure to back up your 8in apim asbuilt and apply it to the new one then add

The 12" screen requires an extra power connector.
