Excited here as well! It seems from the trackers in previous week threads that delivery to CA took longer. I guess a lot of train traffic to manage those.

With some last minute issues coming up tonight, I may now ship the truck back to TN. Still working on those details. Looking at United and Road Runner for updated quotes on Monday if it goes that way.

Keep me posted with the shipping Rotty. I'm curious with one you decide to go with. I'm thinking of either getting my truck shipped or driving to Iowa to pick it up. I've been looking at Montway to ship it if I go that route.
I'm not going to fly because of all the cancellation issues going on now plus the only non stop flight from my area to DSM arrives at 10pm .

Will do. I called United previously and asked what they did for vehicle inspection. They said they would walk around the vehicle and make note of any outside issues (scratches, dents, etc.). They would then load it and transport it regardless of issue. Transport would take around 6 days.

And you could be right. But this is going from a dealer on a private move, so it may be easier to find an empty truck near a dealer and then shuttle it. Of course it may also mean shuttling it from United lot to United lot until it finally gets to TN.

But I do have a question for you. Base on an 11/17/21 order (example above) with a build week of 12/3, Can I safely assume my order of 11/26/21 will see a notification from Ford within the next week of a build week date?

not necessarily, dealer allocation matters too and KR don’t seem to eat scheduled all that easily. Check with dealership, they should be able to tell you if you’ve been scheduled to a week to day.

For those of you that have had their vehicle delivered or might know. What offers are we able to get. Does the 1k special order stack with the 3500 model year transition? If so are we also able to add in the first responder discount for a total of 5k? With those are we still able to get the 0/72? I sent a message to my dealer but he didn’t know and hasn’t gotten back to me yet. He seemed to think it was either the 3500 or the 0/72 and didn’t know about the 1k.

So I spoke with the dealer today. He said that the 3500 model transition doesn’t work with the x-plan. Has anyone that ordered via xPlan gotten this 3500 dollars? Almost makes me wish I would have ordered thru granger or something.

Sorry - Not following the 11/17 order and build week of 12/3 direction. Was that a 12/13 build week? A link or user name would help.

Notifications from Ford are all over the place (I've never gotten any, others get them consistently). I would not assume anything on Ford emails unless you've gotten one of the "order received" ones, then you've got a better chance of getting future emails (but this is not assured).

Last word I've gotten on Ford builds was that Lariat highs through Plats/KRs/etc. was Very Limited Availability (i.e. fewer of these to be scheduled). The next round of Ford scheduling is set for 1/6 (Thursday), that would be the best bet of hearing something develop.

If your dealer has low allocation numbers from Ford, then you probably will have less of a chance of getting your truck scheduled. High volume dealers generally have high truck allocations each scheduling round and get their ordered trucks generally faster.

So your dealer volume (truck allocation from Ford), your trim and option choices, and the supply chain issues will determine your scheduling. (At one point at the beginning November of Adaptive Steering was required to get a KR or Plat scheduled - not sure if this is true now.)

My dealer ran every possible scenario with my X-Plan and he successfully combined the 0%/72 months (instead of $3,500) and the $1,000 Retail Order Bonus Cash. He tried to get me both the 0%/72 months and the $3,500, but they didn’t stack. It’s possible to add to X-Plan, but I learned from Ford Marketing everything is dealer discretion.

Hi - I have never posted this but I ordered 2 Trucks that are almost identical. Silver Platinum with everything on them except one doesn't have the max tow package. I think I am going to need to pass on the one with out Max Tow. Does anyone know someone who wants it? Would love to get my deposit back but it is what it is... Located in West TN.

It was 5 or 6% off MSRP.
