Call Ford Marketing Department, they can tell you if it’s on chip hold. I just called for an update and I’m still pending shipment with an eta of 12/24 - 12/30

I talked to them yesterday and they didn't say anything about a chip hold. Just said my ETA was 12/25. I asked my dealer for an update just now and they said they were hoping it will arrive next week and didn't see anything about a hold. Hopefully the status of On Hold is just what the jack cooper uses as the status before they have arranged a specific truck and pickup time.

They can provide pretty much the same information that you would see on the Ford tracker but not as detailed as the vehicle visibility report that the dealer can see.

Does yours have the chip hold? I called yesterday and the woman on the phone told me she couldn't see that much information. You and I have the same ETA.

According to the rep I got today, if I was on a chip hold, it would say it in his system and on the dealers portal. He didn’t have visibility into why it hasn’t shipped yet.
When I called my dealer for an update he provided me with the below screen shot and just said he doesn’t know what the hold up is. I’m refusing to let any thoughts of chips creep into my head.

No $3500 PCO but my dealer has a $1000 custom order offer and X plan has a $500 bonus cash offer that expires January 3rd.

I am worried about making the Xplan offer too. It's better than the one in place when I ordered. Mine was a state away earlier in the week so it should be at the yard by now unless the rail car was sitting around. Hoping to get that phone call any day now.

I test drove the truck with the engine cutoff thing. IMO Didn’t really seem to mind it knowing it’s just trying to save gas. But if it really bothers you then do what you need to brother.

I agreed to have it removed so it wasn’t stuck sitting on a lot waiting for a computer chip......yet it’s sitting on a lot waiting for a chip that I agreed to not have.

Curious, how do you know it’s that chip in particular it’s waiting on?
