Curious, how do you know it’s that chip in particular it’s waiting on?

Sent a request to ford themselves. Plus a truck built the same day, same plant was delivered yesterday. No auto stop start in it.

So does it show a "Chip Hold" status on the dealers portal? Just asking so we all can piece together the information we are receiving from various sources. IE, Ford Marketing told me I'm pending shipment which also matches my dealers portal. While some others clearly state In Production - Chip Hold.

Nope. Assist as included in 502a.

On the 21's, 502's didn't get front sensors unless you ordered Active, even tho 501 and lower got them with assist. Seems like they fixed that oversight on 22's, I saw another who already has his 22 has them as well. The only difference is Active gives you the sensors on the side of the front bumper, too.

Dealer can’t find the truck. Tracker says in transit and shipped.
ford themselves told me it’s waiting chip hold. If the dealer didn’t get a similar truck delivered this week built at the same plant on the same day as mine I prob wouldn’t have noticed the only diff is mine doesn’t have the delete and the other one does. I’ll just rack the miles up on my trade instead of my car now.

Did the Ford Chat. My 2022 F-150 was built on 12/1. Dealer informed me that it is no longer in Dearborn per their information as of 12/14. Ford Chat indicated it was “in production“ as of today. Question is “what’s reliable information“?

No kidding. I was told basically the same. Who do you believe at this point? I guess it doesn't really matter. It'll come when it comes. Just sucks because I had things planned that require the truck, and that PCO offer I have might expire....

And honestly, it's kind of the principal of the thing. How can they be this bad at tracking our orders? We're talking about a pretty large and expensive purchase. The misinformation or lack of information is astounding sometimes.

All I know is what Ford marketing has told me. She said it expires Jan 3rd and that my "truck ETA says it should be here by then to use it before the expiration." Other than that, I know nothing about the PCO. I never got it via email or mail, so I don't have the fine print and terms. I only found out about it via talking to her. I'm not even sure if it combines with the ford conversion offer, or if its a different thing or what.

I don't have the PCO offer from converting a 2021 to 2022 but i did receive one in the mail from Ford that expires on Jan 3. The fine print on it says "Place order OR take retail delivery" before that date. I'm going to double check with my dealer next week to make sure they will still honor it if my truck doesn't arrive by then. If they won't i'm either walking or going to look for one in someone else's inventory before it expires. I don't need the truck i ordered as I already have a 2021 sitting in my driveway. I'm on a truck program through my employer and have to trade every couple of years so with the used truck market like it is and the PCO offer i could trade in my 21 302A XLT and bump up to a Lariat and gain equity in a truck without putting anything down. We'll see if it all works out that way when the truck gets there. Finger crossed!!

If you talk to marketing again, ask for the Program # she was referring to. That was mentioned in a post somewhere on here, the buyer had the Program #, dealer didn't know about it or couldn't find it, but by having the Program #, the dealer was able to apply it to the purchase

My dealer got another load of 2022’s delivered today. 4 302A XLTs and a 502A Lariat. By looking at the bayed date on palsapp some of these trucks were built only a couple of days ago and are already being delivered. Makes me curious what the hold up is on all the trucks in the 11/15 and 11/29 build weeks. That makes 9 2022’s they have had delivered this week and most of them were built this week or last week.
