Greg - what was your targeted delivery date to the dealer again? Mine is 12/21-12/27 to Rodeo...

Ford tracker shows 1/3 dealer told me they expect it in three weeks from last Friday. I have not ask them for an update since Friday. They wanted to start the paperwork at the end of this week so we are good when it arrives so I will get an update from them then. I hope palsapp is wrong and just delayed in updating. You would think if they wanted to get 21s out ASAP they would not have let it sit for a week in a lot.

So we all know how reliable the Ford tracker has been...but mine just updated the status to Shipped. Still haven't received the "Shipped" email from Ford yet. Still interested on hearing more about the holding of the new model year trucks.

How does that work?

When there is a model year or Job change, batches of trucks are ran and then held in a holding lot. They are gone over thoroughly to check for quality issues. Then they are released. Sometimes it can take days, like with the minor changes taking place between 2021 and 2022 model years. Sometimes it can take weeks or longer, like with the 2021 or 2015 launch.

Rinse and repeat until OKTB is achieved. Nothing is shipped until that goal is reached.

Has anyone seen a “checklist” of the most common issues buyers have seen with the 21’s for us to use when we check our purchases with the dealers? I noted the door Alignment problems with the screws, for example, and the fuses not being fully seated as examples...

Does this suggest that being in Batch & Hold you are getting a more thoroughly checked over truck than a later build date?

Finally got an update for my 12/2 blend date. The ford tracker hasnt worked for the past couple days but I checked again this evening and its showing a build date of 12/7 with an ETA of 12/31/2021. Would have been nice to get before new year or even Christmas but not too upset about it

It seems to me the ETA is normally longer than reality. However some in other build weeks have waited longer than the ETA so I think it's just a matter of luck.

Did you receive earlier emails directly from Ford? I got two earlier ones - the first confirming receipt of my order, and the second giving me the production week with the VIN

Yes, I got both of those emails previously. Just haven't received the "Built" email everyone else seems to have received.

That explains a lot regarding why none of ours has shipped yet. I was getting concerned why we're going on a week with no shipments yet, but knowing that I'll be able to be a little more patient.

I was basing my previous delivery guesstimate on previous orders to my dealer, since they all basically shipped same-day or day after, but at this rate it's incredibly unlikely it will arrive before Christmas now.

And your activate vehicle button went active 3 or 4 days ago, as I recall. Hmmm.... you can see your vehicle on the tracker?

Yeah, it did. I have both activate vehicle, and modules populated.

No, the Ford tracker has never worked for me. Not even when it was still up the first time 2 months ago. It always says my VIN can't be tracked in the system or that it's invalid. The only was I was able to track my order was the Mach-E one, but now that's gone, so I'm in the dark on my end.

@TurboToaster was able to check and saw my VIN in the rail system, so it's not a huge deal as long as I can see it's shipped out eventually via other methods. Was just confused why I wouldn't receive the latest email like everyone else. Might just be delayed system funky-ness. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow or something.
