11/29 Build Week

Got my confirmation for 11/29 build week as well. Order was confirmed 10/26 for a 22 tremor. Truck will be delivered to NC, getting excited!

Joined this build week yesterday. Converted my 21 to a 22 on 10/28, got a confirmation from Ford same day. Yesterday, I got an email with my VIN and build week. Looks like it’s going to be a merry Christmas.

Also did you order any non-Ford options like spray in liner, or wheel well covers?

My 2021 order date was 10/11. Started bugging my salesman and sales manager on 10/25 after no communication from Ford and reading on here about the conversion incentives.

No secondary add on, the sales manager recommended not doing them because they would add time on the order because of the extra steps. It’s a Dearborn build coming to Texas.

Checked with dealer a couple of times per month, was never scheduled but dealer assured me it was in the system. Later in the process the dealer advised me it would likely be rolled over to a 2022.

Finally, on October 22, I got an email from ford with the subject: "Your 2022 F-150 Platinum order". Email said my dealer had placed the order and the order had been confirmed. Nothing since then.

I never got anything official saying my order was CHANGED to 2022, just that it was placed for a 2022. Still, to my knowledge, has not been scheduled. .

I also never got a notice or anything about the $3,500 rebate for orders rolled into 2022.

Nothing special other than Max Recline seats. I did add 2kw power, but that was in Oct. after the order confirmation.

I am wondering if something has happened and mine was never rolled over and simply went in as a 2022. Seems like a July order would have been scheduled sooner.

Can anyone give me any insight here?

Did you order the Adaptive Steering (AS) option? That was standard on Platinum and King Ranch prior to April, but an extra option since then. Not paying extra for that on the current builds is a known delay in the current building process.

Not sure if the 2kW option would cause a delay. Mine has the 7.2kW (and AS) and was scheduled for build week 11/29 after ordering it on 10/2. I never got an email from Ford, just info (VIN, build week, build date) via my sales rep.

I would suggest contacting your dealer and ask for the VIN and build week. It's possible without the AS, neither is available.

I know the three dealers represented here, Granger, Chapman, and Koons (mine), seem to be good at getting info to their customers (when the info is available & we're limiting our calls). I would hope your dealer would be helpful in getting you the info if it's available.

I had a 21 order but never got any email from Ford about it. Never for scheduled. Canceled and put in a 22 order. I was told about PCO by my dealer. Have nothing from Ford about it.

I have never received an email from Ford or my dealer. I have to call him and ask for updates. Ordered in August for a basic limited options XL RCSB with a 5.0, fog lights and power windows. When I check the tracker all I get is order confirmed, no window sticker, no build date. I think they forgot about me.

I also get no emails from Ford and call my sales rep for details. I also get Order Confirmed with no window sticker or build date (on the trackers). So I'm right there with you.

If you were told your build week was 11/29, that's a positive. We should be getting more info later next week, or the week after. Window stickers do not generally get printed until 1 week from build date. Being that Thanksgiving occurs just before the 11/29 week, we may get a bit of an info stream blip.

Hopefully the magic 8 ball tells us "Yes - Definitely" very soon.
