Just chatted with Ford because I was hoping for some sort of tracking information for my truck shipment. Window Sticker says that my truck is supposed to ship convoy but ford gave me a railcar number for the shipping. Might make sense why it is showing about 6 weeks for delivery to the dealership. Anyone else have this happen?

I am going to Granger so from my understanding even though it says convoy on the WS, it ships by rail from Dearborn to KC Plant and then jumps on Convoy from there. So your truck probably will get picked up by convoy on the final leg somewhere.

Ford Tracker still shows my truck as "In Production." I have received a few extra modules, 920 now, and a tear tag. No email yet.

Still in production here as well, blend day last Friday. Have had a tear tag for a few days. Where do you see the module count at? I see all the modules but don't see where there's a total value.

I'm not a Max Tow. Spray in Liner was still required for BAP. It's shown on the 23 Order Guide thread.

Interesting. Looking at the guide again, the trims have a second note at the bottom of the option pack breakdowns that suggests it's applicable to both 3.5EB 4x4 and PB with max tow. So are all of you 3.5EB BAP 4x4 orders getting the spray in liner forced?

The guide surely has some interesting quirks like this. PB BAPs got the dual exit exhaust this year (all BAPs getting it) where it was a restriction for PBs to have side exit in the past.

My window sticker says Convoy as well. Im in STL and my dealer said the KC plant would be assembling the truck. However, he said that when we ordered it so I figured it was an assumption. My window sticker doesn't say which plant it's coming from.

My tracker is showing "Built" and I received an email last Friday from Ford estimating a 12/12-12/18 delivery. Today, my salesman texted me and said visibility is estimating first week of January but also said it could be sooner. He said it depends on the rail company and transport company.

Because of what he recently said, I'm assuming rail will be involved despite my window sticker saying convoy. I didn't want to pester my salesman about it because it ultimately doesnt matter. Im just genuinely curious. I'll probably ask Ford directly and see if they can give me a railcar number to track.

Your VIN number has the factory where the truck was built. You need to decode it to find out. I don't remember what the digit is for the factory, but you can find that information on here. That is how I found out my truck was built in Detroit.

Kind of cool tracking the rail car! My truck left the KC plant on 12/6 at 11am and is now in Galesburg Illinois! Some stuff that i found researching the rail company said that BNSF doesn’t ship past chicago so i’m assuming my truck will be switched to convoy sometime soon!

don't worry about the email. that is normal communication. the WS hopefully is just a hiccup with the site. might want to give it a while and if it is still not showing I might reach out to your dealer or Ford to see whats up.

the window sticker link sometimes doesnt work. next time its there print or save a screen shot of it.
but the WS will be back if it was issued.

I was WRONG. You CAN get the BAP without the spray in. Oh well. I'll never need the additional durability of a LineX over the OEM.
