The random shipping is just puzzling. I did ask Granger for an update for the first time yesterday. Savannah did give me my trucks journey so far. I wonder where it says ‘sent offsite’ what that really means? Just in some parking lot? But final status being ‘awaiting shipping’ and ‘released’ seems consistent with others.

That's crazy, my truck was built on 12/4 and as of today Ford Tracker says it was delivered to Granger. I don't understand madness of this all.

Thanks, Dearborn. Not great timing with the holidays here, going to be out of town a lot. So who knows when I can actually go get it.

I wonder but I doubt it, if your priority code you were assigned has anything do with the priority in which the vehicles are chosen for shipping as well. Anyone ever tried to correlate that?

everyone gets the same priority code from Ford. I think it is a 3.

The dealers assign codes from 10 to 99 I believe. it is really rare to have Ford assign a code other than 3. at least that is my understanding.

Stopped by dealer to check and truck is in stock waiting for dealer prep. They said they got in 30+ vehicles yesterday.

The truck looks better in person than the online builder images. It’s an XL but has more options than my old XLT did. I’m impressed.

The online ford tracking was not accurate. After it showed built 11-29 it only showed waiting to ship and never switched to shipped. Just went straight to showing at dealership. also never got any email from ford or dealership on status since the build date. It was just my info from checking on tracker everyday for updates.

all in all I’m thankful that it only took a little over 4 months after hearing all the stories of long shipping waits and chip hold.

I was contacted by Granger yesterday to sign the adjusted invoice without heated steering and advanced security deletes by Ford. Otherwise my Lariat is prepped and I'm awaiting contact by the finance department. I am scheduled to fly out and pick it up before New Years!?

The current incentive on their website says 3.9% + $500. So make sure you get that extra $500.

Nah, it's been the deal for months. It was there when I ordered back in October.

Yes it is on ford.com and all over the commercials. I agree, it has been there since I think Oct. Sept it was 2.9% so I drug my feet too long as I missed that by just a couple days.

I'm guessing with the economy and rates where they are, Ford will hold the 3.9% for 60mo as that is honestly better than most the other automakers right now already.
