Anyone notice or have a weird vibration in the gas pedal on your truck? Specifically the 3.5L powerboost? It feels like I have my foot on some hair clippers at times

Yes, noticed it today for the first time in my 3.5 EcoBoost Lariat. It was the first time I accelerated a bit aggressively hitting about 3500rpms on the shifts. I noticed a slight buzz in the pedal when the rpms went over 3000 that I have not felt before. I’ve been taking it pretty easy on the truck thus far with only 680 miles on it. I’ve also had some slight vibrations in the steering wheel at random times too.

I will say I’m one of those types that notices every little quirk that most people don’t. Just need to get used to what is “normal” for this truck. LOL

Do some searching, it’s been discussed at length it seems. My wife’s ecoboost explorer has some odd vibrations I feel at times too. Might be the nature of the EcoBoost platform unfortunately.

My 2017 2nd gen ecoboost (w/ 60k miles) does it as well. It seems the more time you spend over 3000 rpms, the better it gets. You may see the vibration point creep up away from 3000.

I do not drive it that hard most of the time.

Well, it's only been a few days shy of six months, including two just sitting around at Dearborn, but the truck ('23 platinum powerboost BAP) is finally in my grubby hands!

Ford F-150 11/21/22 - Build Week - MY 23 IMG_0432

The local dealer tells me this is actually the first BAP they've sold.

I spent a couple of hours on the lot, running the inspection checklist from this forum. Found some blems in the front seats and a few paint issues that will buff out (though the body shop will consent to see you sir, just six short weeks from now). There is an annoying error in the application of roof sealant that I expect they will tell me they can't fix, but at least that is hard to see. No dents or messed-up plastic, and almost zero rust on the undercarriage. Everything seems to work fine.

One checklist item proved to be a victim of Ford's increasing penny pinching. When I asked about the Pro Trailer Backup Sensor Kit (this is a platinum with max tow) the answer was "Um.... no". You no longer even get a sticker, they said, just directions to the parts department.

Ford had recently been sliding the delivery window to the right every few days, so it was a bit of a surprise to hear from the dealer. They did pre-delivery inspection last Saturday, it turns out, while the tracker said it was still in transit on Sunday and had pushed it back another four days. At least anecdotally, I guess, I can offer that if others are seeing small postponements, it may not mean the worst. In hindsight, Ford's tracker appeared to be re-aligning the middle of the delivery window with the truck's actual progress.

Just got an email that mine has arrived at the dealer this afternoon.
Been a crazy busy couple of weeks...but looking good and running great so far. Got the windows tinted (Mile High Window Tint), added the tonneau cover (Stage 3 Motorsports), added my spoiled dog's backseat couch (Chewy), added some Husky Liners for the interior. So far, so good.

We are twins. I put a set of black lug nuts on my wheels is the only difference

Good looking truck. I may have to borrow that idea.
If you do not want to change the lug nuts, you can get some covers. I found some black covers, for a lot cheaper, for my wife's car. It still gives you the look and you do not have to worry about damage during rotations.

I appreciate the advice. I bought some lug nut covers for ~$20 on Amazon. The black lug nuts from Ford were $175 and every where else had them at $60ish or more.
