We took our F-350 to CarMax for an in-person appraisal. An hour later, we walked out with a printed offer valid for 7 days. Good thing because our dealer initially offered us $4K less until we showed them the CarMax offer.

I plan on doing the same thing. Just waiting until I know it's en route to the dealership so I'll have a better chance of staying inside the 7 days that the Carmax offer is good for.

I checked this morning and the original delivery ETA of 11/13 has been pushed back and changed to 11/21. My truck was built in KC on 11/3 and am assuming is awaiting wheel liners.

Well, today may or may not be the day for me and my Tremor. But it is very suspect as @WRS can attest. My truck arrived at the rail yard early yesterday morning and was unloaded and “released” yesterday afternoon. Dealer doesn’t have it on lot and says it is still at the rail yard as of 6:00 PM yesterday. Ford Tracker not returning any results, but f150gen14 tracker and Mach-E tracker are showing delivered as of 11/15/21. Both Pals and United Road do not have any active delivery orders.

So, it may be here. It may be at the rail yard. It might be still in transit. I don’t know, but today might be the longest day in the office.

Mine left by flatcar (assuming truck) this morning. If truck, dealer should have it by the end of the day.

Then again...there are a ton of vehicles sitting there. Lots of trucks.

Google aerial images can be 6 mos to 18 mos old. They aren't updated weekly.

I would not wait long today before reaching out to UR. I believe United Road should be hauling it because order# 6178416 was getting updated, now shows canceled. I think it is sitting at the receiver without an active order for anyone to pick it up.

I'm trying to keep a patient approach knowing my truck is in the local railyard. Considering some of the horror stories some have had to endure in terms of waiting for their truck I consider myself lucky that I'm even getting a truck ordered 08/31 before Christmas. I've worked (for a short time) with Canadian National Railway. Railways are the best example of organized chaos I can think of. They move insane amounts of goods very efficiently on a macro scale. But when you get to a micro level (such as an individual truck) he can be a bit of a crapshoot and also needs the other logistics partners to be on the ball.

Took delivery of mine yesterday. 21 Screw 3.5EB in velocity blue.
started build 11/4, done 11/8, at dealer 11/12 (had ToughBed liner and wheel well liners) and took delivery 11/15.
built in Dearborn and dealer is less than an hour from the plant.
