Ford HAS to figure out a better final shipping method. At some point, they are going to have to look into smaller hotshot type drivers or even getting workers to ferry the trucks from railyard to dealership if it's fairly close.

I agree and lack of known details by Ford on time it takes at each step needs improving. My delivery window has moved 4 times, just since my truck has shipped.
I also don't know if my truck has been unloaded from rail car. My Fordpass app repeatedly gives me an error when trying to activate so assume that signal can't connect in rail car or truck is in "deep sleep" mode sitting in a parking lot. My dealer doesn't give a lot of details whenever I check in besides "haven't seen any movement" so essentially in the dark, for now.

Mine was deactivated when it went into "shipping mode" and wasn't reactivated until I did it at the dealership.
It's BS for a truck to sit in a railyard for a month. It's bad for the paint to be there, it's bad for the customer to be waiting, and it's bad for dealerships waiting on inventory. If a person can ship a truck in an enclosed trailer in a few days, cross country, for $2k....Ford should be able to get a truck to a dealer in a week for 1800$.

62 days sitting in a rail yard for my truck. Many others have passed it by on way to Granger through the very same rail yard. I’m convinced it was damaged and they are holding it until it can be fixed. Why else is it just sitting there? Still very much looking forward to taking delivery, but this shipping delay is taking a toll on my mental state! ?

I walked away from my built and picked up an almost identical one on another dealer lot. I can wait, but the lack of information on a reliable delivery date turned me away from waiting.

Stopped by my dealer and my truck was just delivered to the lot. I think it had came off the truck just before I got there. Going to check it and do the paperwork in the morning, should be taking it home thursday.
