I think dealer is a huge factor. Granger seems to have trucks delivered that were built 3 weeks after mine. I’m very close to Dearborn but have a small dealer. Grangers built after mine have to travel 10x as far but are already off the lot.

Side note: I think Ford knows they’ve already hit their Q4 quotas OR they know they won’t hit them, so they are sandbagging for Q1. Something tells me trucks start shipping on 12/30. Ok tinfoil hat off.

I’m happy people are getting their trucks. I’m also aware 22s have not even been built yet. But WTH Ford. Just ship them.
not entirely true. I have a Granger order. Ordered February. No build. Ordered a 2023. Built 10/31. Still built and awaiting shipment. Every time I ask a status they say it will be delivered to Granger in a few days. Not sure how that’s possible as it isn’t even on a train/truck yet from the factory. How others have their trucks built after mine is a mystery too. All I know is I hope my mustang can handle the upcoming snow storms. I didnt think I would be waiting over a year for a truck.oh well.

Got on ford chat a little bit ago, they told me the ETA to be picked up by the shipper was 12-31-22. Left negative feedback

I decided to call ford marketing as well, truck is released to the shipper at ramp in Boston,Michigan. ETA is 12/25- 12/31 to be delivered. Left negative feedback about shipping delays.

I ordered the truck 7-20
It’s been built without holds since 10-31
First ford email was 11/14-11/20
Second email updating me on 12/5 ETA 12/10-12/16

I am not convinced it will even ship by the end of the month. This is week 7 since it’s been built/awaiting shipment.

it’s crazy to me that people are getting trucks delivered that have been built later. I’m really starting to think ford is controlling what ships and what doesn’t based on dealer or region.
I am of the same opinions of all of the other posts after yours. I realize we all want our trucks in a timely fashion. I am one of the my22 that haven’t even been finished being built. I too would have loved if Ford would have done first in first out with their builds and shipping. Being frustrated is all part of this process which isn’t a very good one. Be patient and you will get your truck soon. I hope it gets shipped quickly and you have a Merry Christmas!

I try the ford pass activation at least once a day, gets denied every time. but I keep trying just for the heck of it. I think it takes an active party at the other end to also accept.

Received an email today that my estimated ship date is now between 12/20 - 12/26. This is the third email I’ve received regarding the shipment date.

44 days from order to built. 9 days to ship from Detroit to Kansas City. 47 days and counting to make final trek to Granger……. No Christmas miracles happening for me this year. Lol!

Per ford chat, truck was "received by ramp 02, Atlanta, GA on 12/20." Assuming truck is waiting for convoy to dealership 2 hours away.

DELIVERED! Just heard from dealer that my truck arrived this morning. Truck received shipped status 12/3, arrived via rail to Wilmington, DE 12/13 and convoy to Egg Harbor, NJ delivered 12/21.

I do feel a little bad for how quickly this step went for me relative to most on here, hope things get worked out and you all receive your trucks soon!

First post after creeping this thread for a few months. My order info for the table:

Platinum PB
Order Confirmed 9/16
Blend 10/30
In production 11/1
Built 11/27
Shipped 12/3

I was able to trace my rail car to the last ramp in Cottage Grove MN. Been there since 12/12. Schedule delivery per Ford is 12/28 thru 1/3. My dealer contacted me today and said it was scheduled to arrive Friday the 23rd or Monday the 26th. This is the first I've heard of a date moving up, so I assume he has information on the convoy carrier. Has anyone else has their delivery date move up rather then get pushed back? I see all the frustration over long shipping times and lack of information after trucks leave Dearborn, and rightfully so, but this is much quicker than the 6 months to 1 year I was told to expect when I ordered it.

For what it's worth my dealer recommended not adding options like a bed liner and tonneau cover that can be installed locally to avoid production delays. Of course they could just be trying to sell their service instead.

No they are correct. those accessories are not put on while the truck is on the line. they have to send the truck to a different area.

that is what makes some of the forced options so frustrating. Like getting BAP and Max Tow requires the stupid spray in liner. Yes I complain about that every time I can. @Ford Motor Company needs to remove that as a forced option.

LineX is a better product, and doesn't cause any delay's in the process.
