Tried looking up my order status on Ford and I got this:

" We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN. "

I'm assuming the system is down?

Update: Working again. Unfortunately still waiting to ship.

Had the same problem earlier this morning. Now it’s working fine.

Checked tracker this morning, showing built, no email yet. Assuming I am built but waiting on a chip? Who knows.

Yeah, yesterday, Ford chat said I was awaiting shipment with a status of chip hold, so not sure if I am still on hold or not. I assume I am.

None of the usual status markers are holding true anymore unfortunately

Sometimes I think that as a society we created our own misery with instant everything. I am just as guilty as the next guy. I like tracking packages and the quick delivery on just about everything. But I also think maybe we were better off back in the days of driving to Sears, having to place an order from a catalog on a telephone in the back hallway, then waiting 3 weeks for someone to call and say your toaster is in, drive back, wait 20 to 30 minutes for your turn and somebody to go find it in the back.. I dunno.. better or worse??.. excuse me now while I go enter my VIN on the tracker again

Nothing like giving the dealer a reason to screw people with custom orders. Dealers are causing their own demise if they keep this up…Ford will be going Direct to Customer in the next few years.

I had a dealer call me today about there black friday sale... 3k off sticker. Back to the good old days for the scum of salesmen. I hope ford goes direct

Me too.
I have a few friends in the dealer business and hate to be that way, but after ordering my Lightning directly I’ve seen that dealers really arnt needed as a middleman

I sold data center hardware up until January this year and we still discounted… we had a chip shortage too…
