Mine went from ETA 6/9 to 1990-01-01 to 6/7 today from print out dealer sent me. When I track myself it still shows 1990-01-01 ETA

I wish my dealer would be able to send me updates like that but sadly they just keep telling me its at ramp 59. I dont think they even know whats going on right now.Mine went from ETA 6/9 to 1990-01-01 to 6/7 today from print out dealer sent me. When I track myself it still shows 1990-01-01 ETA
I have a feeling that the dealers are just used to this crap from Ford.I wish my dealer would be able to send me updates like that but sadly they just keep telling me its at ramp 59. I dont think they even know whats going on right now.
That is all those updates will say that your vehicle has been sent to Ramp 59, your dealer is telling you everything they can find out.I wish my dealer would be able to send me updates like that but sadly they just keep telling me its at ramp 59. Ya, they don’t know what’s going on because Ford isn’t updating anything and or communicating with the dealers and or the customers. It’s piss poor honestly. You’d think the most successful automaker in the world would have this figured out. That is all those updates will say that your vehicle has been sent to Ramp 59, your dealer is telling you everything they can find out.
So far from what I have seen, noAre any of the trucks from this build week being delivered?
My dealer has I believe 3 or 4 trucks that were built this week and the last update I got on mine was yesterday and the trace said “microchip at plant hold”.So far from what I have seen, no
Not Dearborn trucks at least. Are any of the trucks from this build week being delivered?
Jeez... what an update. With our luck, I would assume "microchip[s needed but not yet allocated], at plant, hold [indefinitely]".My dealer has I believe 3 or 4 trucks that were built this week and the last update I got on mine was yesterday and the trace said “microchip at plant hold”.
Due to the lack of grammar and punctuation, I’m not sure how to interpret.
it either means “microchip, at plant hold”. Waiting on a microchip and the truck is being held at the plant or “microchip at plant, hold”. Meaning they have allotted a chip(s) for the truck and it is at the plant.
Either way I’m still assuming it will take until august or September to receive anything.
@OCDoug -I was told that the dealers have to place a phone call to whoever would normally take their orders. It sounds like possibly someone at headquarters? I was told by one of the customer relations people to have my dealer place the call.Jeez... what an update. That being said, it would still make me feel ever so slightly more informed if my dealer could have figured out what this open trace thing is.
Yeah, I believe this should be their regional zone manager. My dealer has consistently said that their zone manager hasn't been able to give them any information. They also claim to have contacted Ford HQ directly and gotten no additional information. I don't really trust my dealer on updates any more than I trust Ford HQ on updates... so, I'm probably just stuck waiting until something happens that I can verify myself through the tracker data or palsapp.@OCDoug -I was told that the dealers have to place a phone call to whoever would normally take their orders. Since both Dearborn and Kansas City are down the week of June 7th, I suspect your build date has already been rescheduled.I'm scheduled for a June 7 build.
If it doesn't get built on June 7, I'm going to a different dealer on June 8th & placing an order for another one just like it.
I'll take whichever one shows up 1st and cancel the other one.
The dealers don't care. It's a "sellers market".
I’m tempted to call my dealer tomorrow and place an identical order, I think I would still receive the 2nd order first. Funny story, around my build day week of 3/15 my dealer said “you’re lucky you ordered when you did, if you had waited until January you probably wouldnt be getting a truck in ‘21”. If we only knew.....These are the posts that kill me the most:

I should probably take a break from the forums for awhile... it's starting to be hard to be happy for others who are getting their trucks. I know it's Ford's fault and not theirs, but damn... If I had a time machine, I'd go back to the day my truck was built and order an identical one. Everyone would be saying "But why? You'll just have double the wait time!", and I'd just say "You'll see..."
