Sorry guys but I may not be making this journey with you much longer. With all the uncertainties I decided to find a local truck to purchase and have started the paperwork. As long as there are no surprises, I'll be cancelling my ordered truck.

Don't blame you. If I didn't already give my dealer my trade in early, I would be doing the same thing. My dealer has a loaded up XLT in stock, that I have thought about downgrading to. We will see. Keep us updated

Will do. It's a Lariat Powerboost, very similar build to my order with a few extras I hadn't intended to buy in order to keep the price down. I've accepted that I'll be paying more, but a few thousand seems worth not having a truck at all.

What a difference a day makes... I signed the purchase agreement for the lot truck yesterday, then 2am this morning I receive an email from Ford saying my truck is built and undergoing final inspections. ETD revised from May 3rd to Feb 18th. Now I have to decide whether to trust the delivery process and that it will be quick, or go with the lot truck.

If I go with the lot truck (99% chance) I'll share the window sticker for the order I'm declining in case anyone is interested rather than waiting for theirs. For those that are interested you can message me and I'll give you my dealer/salesman contact info.

The tracker updated to estimated delivery Feb 18th. Not sure I buy that it gets here that quick. My window sticker didn't update at all though. Still dated Feb 3rd

Edit: It'll be interesting to see if folks in the 1/10 build week group got theirs built as well or if I'm an outlier and jumped them.

Yeah will be interesting to know. My window sticker updated to 2/9, but no new info. Ill update the sheet with this good news

My tracker has been AWOL for 2-3 days now. Hopefully they're catching up on chip module install and get the backlog on the way out. Now, with the trucker protest we could see even more hiccups in the delivery process. Out of curiosity @Mike G-Man , did you have Pro Power ordered with your truck?

Mike is a 502a Powerboost. Hope this is a sign that ford is getting things moving with the chips

It's giving me an activate button but I'm not doing that as I'm likely purchasing the lot truck
