I heard some talk about Lariat zone lighting not being standard equipment. Can can anyone clarify what that means and why its on my window sticker as standard?

Anyone get any updates from their dealers today?
Yeah. Started with “got bad news” so you guys know the rest. First week of may is where dealer sees it coming. He’s assuming the big delays is due to the chips coming in April timeframe.

I’m about ready to say F this and find something in stock, which is slim pickings lol. Looking back, when I ordered my truck I wish I would have said don’t give or tell me anything until it is sitting on the lot

It is standard on Lariat. On another forum they were discussing bed utility package and posted this... "Already std on..."

Already looking at RAM. They seem to have more inventory, at least in virginia. I like the backcountry but I don’t see any made yet. So that means probably another long wait order.

That didn't take long ?. Just yesterday you didn't want me to bail on my order.

No man, don’t go team Ram. We can’t be friends after that talk?

Reality sat in my friend. As much as I hate, I’m still holding out for mine. Gave them my truck back in September and the sold it within a week. Worked well for me to get a good trade value, but put me in a position now

Right there with you. I had a few words with my dealer today; of course it didn’t get me anywhere but it made me feel better. I went from TBD since January 12th (build day) to May 8th delivery on tracker (which the dealer confirmed). Unfortunately they have my trade money so as to avoid my paying taxes on it since last July 1, and the dealership has nothing coming in comparable to what I ordered any sooner. Just wondering where the Kansas plant is getting their chips and what Ford is doing with the ones they currently have in stock Up north.

Yeah I gave mine early for the tax credit and how the used car market is. Didn’t know what it was going to look like when it came time to pickup the new one. I’m from PA and there isn’t shit up here for sale. I am getting mine for invoice, and I’m not willing to go somewhere else and pay msrp or more. I am just disappointed that we waited this long for shit to hit the fan on us. If only we would have been 3 weeks prior, it seemed like it would have been “better”

Fortunately I still have my trade but it’s useless until summer… a 2017 corvette.

I'll probably ride it out. My Ranger is still a good truck. With X-Plan saving me a good chunk of change on the purchase, I can't justify leaving that on the table to buy a Ram. My tracker comes and goes, but always holds at that mid-February delivery...for how long who knows.
