My latest, last update from Ford was 05/01-05/07-2022 delivery. Last week (Monday) my dealers sales person said Ford was now showing 05/10-05/17-2022 delivery, Ok. My dealer sales person is now out for surgery, and received call (Friday) from new sales person.

While speaking over phone we stated he would contact railyard in Mesquite, TX to see if truck might be there, he didn’t say why, but had the feeling he was looking at something that might indicate the possibility, stated he would call me back Monday afternoon (today), with any news.

He actually called before noon and my stuck was actually at railyard in Mesquite, too my surprise. He said he had truck marked “hot” for convoy up here to dealership in Denison, Tx., stated he could have it this Wednesday and delivered to on Friday.

Well after all this waiting and lack of updates from Ford, I was in shock to think it really might get here, and in all honesty I’ll believe it when I see it.

But, now I get to start worry about the stuff that I been reading about breaking .

Hopefully light at the end of the tunnel for our waiting.

My ETA was 29/4. Spoke with the dealer, same thing, no change, ETA is back to the future. Still says in his system as ‘chip hold’.
I’m not sure how they go about updating these, would seem common sense to clear the backlog and recognize the revenue in their accounting.
Questionable to produce trucks with missing parts just to let them stay for months in a parking lot.

8 months since order for me.

Difficult spot Ford has put us all in. I was talking big like I was going to just walk from my order, but then I saw the thread about Ford removing options from the upper level trims through 2022. They have basically taken away half of the things that make a platinum....well a platinum.

This truck order wasn't a need, it was a want based on high trade in value on my current F150. But as I continue to put miles on my 2015 the 2022 order could become more of a need. My plan was to dump this 2022 order and wait until 2023 or 2024 but by then Ford may be selling me four folding chairs welded to a frame with the word platinum across the back for $80,000.

Just a mess.

Ford will be here to congratulate you on your awesome looking new truck...once it shows up in late July. Until then it appears they don't want to comment.

Just another possible speculation..Got off the phone with Don at ford marketing, with more details with this “stuck in production-yet produced trucks” chip needing replacement due to a failed Q&A step. Delay is with the truckers and their delivery of the microchips needed, but once the chip is delivered and installed the tracker would go straight to shipping…
Like I said possible just more speculation. Sooo definitely not making my May 12 but I’d still bet late May to June.

Happy Monday! Thanks for all your comments of appreciation. And yes @https.j0n ... I was not expecting this much commitment in maintaining the list. But like all of you, I'm in it for the long haul until that very last truck in our group is delivered! We're getting closer the finish line. Keep the faith!

Congrats to @Quinner_03 and @F150inSD who picked up their trucks this last week! We got one pic from @Quinner_03 ... would be nice to see a few more pics of both your trucks though, when you get some time. We also welcome more comments/initial reactions from those of you who have enjoyed driving your trucks.

I guess making my first complaint on this page the other day paid off. My dealer called today and said I'm off chip hold and just waiting for shipment. The trackers haven't changed but maybe there is hope...I'll give some dates for the spreadsheet if/when I see something change or get a built, shipped or delivery date.

So truck is still awaiting shipment …. Was supposed to be delivered May 21st.. now it’s been pushed back to May 29- June 4 .. this is just bloody stupid …. What frustrates me the most is that I see trucks with the same blend date 1/13 getting delivered …

I think they are holding onto our trucks as long as possible in hopes we bail on the orders so it will lose price protection, then they can make more $ on the completed truck
